Radio Biafra back on air

Controversial pirate channel, Radio Biafra, has again resumed transmission, despite the Federal Government’s claim that it had jammed the station’s signals.

The Federal Government had on July 14 announced that it jammed the transmission signals of the radio station, which was operating illegally from an unknown location.

Our correspondent observed that the channel had not been transmitting on the FM 104.7 band, on which its signals was received in Enugu, since July.

However, it was observed on Saturday that the station, which was monitored from 8pm to 9pm, had resumed transmission on the same 104.7 FM band, from which it transmitted before it went off air.

Listeners were invited to call in from various parts of the South-East, and from outside the country.

The station was still transmitting as of the time of filing this report.

The broadcast addressed the most current issues in the country, an indication that the channel was still on air.

Mr editor the attitude of pasting Uwazuruike's pix on your Radio Biafra article is stale. It is a shame that foreign journalists knows that Radio Biafra is associated with Indigenous People of Biafra -IPOB lead by Nnamdi Kanu and in no way related to Uwazuruike/MASSOB.

Your correspondent is right about Enugu,it just got fixed after Buhari's NBC jammed it but you didn't inform your readers that Radio Biafra has been on in Port Harcourt,Warri,Asaba,Aba,Yenagoa etc. It is on satellite,on tune in,online and a newly launched Radio Biafra App on any android device,just visit Playstore.

Radio Biafra has never gone off air, we lost some relay stations, but we still rebuilt them and added more.

According to you, gullible igbos are assimilating radio Biafra's hate speech. No matter the amount of hate speech RB airs, it will take igbos donkey years to assimilate enough hate to be on the same hate threshold with your people. Because una own hate is ingrained in DNA and thus, hereditary.

I listened to the FM yesterday my conclusion is that, if the so called Biafrians are that united as they claimed APGA would have been the strongest political party in SE and Ojukwu would have gotten more vote than he got when he contested for presidency. I believe it's just a show of mediocracy. A word is enough for the wise
