actually if i am to advise you they are both important,learn graphics first ,then proceed to animation,because if you dont understand and know how to create simple graphics the chances that you will be able to create animation well are very little,

in FUTA, there is industrial design department and in graphics section you will be exposed to some graphical works that can pro.pt you doing animation. though, you will work much on yourself than what you will be taught.

It's an institution/company. Their animation is the best so far (that I have seen in Nig). Most animated TV commercials you see were done by them. Their clients include oando, forte oil, consat etc...Go to there facebook page and you will marvel. Log on facebook and type orange vfx on the search bar. I should also add, I am currently training there. After effects/ premier pro software for now. Moving unto 3d Maya (animation) after that.

I understand you bro. If you feel ebooks and youtube will do the job for you..sure, you can give it a try. Sometimes, if not most of the time, we need physical tutors. Expecially those that are already good in the game. Besides, learning in an environment filled with animators and graphic pros inspires and makes learning fun and easy. But...soup "soup wey sweet, na money kill am". You can go on with online tutorials till you are able to raise money. All the best.
