Dear professor Smith:
I am a student major in accounting. In this July I was diagnosed with kidney stone, doctor suggest me to take the sugary and have a rest for 1 year because of my poor health condition. Then I found this would create a big problem to me because I am in the old program of accounting and already took several courses in this program. Accounting 101 will stop offering after 1 year which means graduation will be a problem to me. I am writing this email to ask if there is any chance I can take one of the new program substitution course of Accounting 101 instead. If so, what kind of process I need to go through. If you can help me on this matter I would be really appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you.
