A Senate Committee visited the  Family of late Oba Sijuwade at his residence in Ile-Ife.The visit was to condole with them on the death of Ooni of Ife.The Senate delegation was led by Sen. Abdulahi Adamu alongside other Senators: Sen. Gbolahan Dada , Sen. Godswill Akpabio and Sen. Abiodun Olujimi.They were received by the Oloris.

The motion to pay a condolence visit to the family was moved by Senator Babajide Omoworare on the Ascension of the monarch
