Everybody seems mad in Nigeria. Even when walking on the streets you have to walk with consciousness of the fact that you are walking pass kidnappers, ritualists, rapists, fraudsters, pick pockets and armed robbers so you have to be at alert. You can't afford to walk casually, carelessly and freely as if you are in your compound.

You can walk pass a mad man and you won't know because of the hustle and bustle. Every one is rushing to get things done and all that


a month ago I was busy pricing fish and a little boy passed by a mad man who slapped this boy of about 11 years old in the market who was busy hawking his own wares on his head

the slap was so hard that the boy collapsed on the ground.

Every body tear race. Me sef run. I was busy running for safety with the fish in my hand. The fish seller was busy chasing me. Omo that day no funny. Thank God I didn't Carry my daughter along because she's always disturbing me in the market and pointing at every biscuit and ice cream seller to buy things for her which is not even in my budget


I can't even imagine running with her and at the same time running with my wares because of one mad man.
