Bro the best option is sell this thing to a security company or someone that needs a security dog. Cos if a child mistakenly enters your house this guy would kill the child , a word is enough for the wise, I don't know why people will get dogs and just abandon the thing

Same thing happened at my place last week my dog got hold of my friend hand it took by the grace of God to pull the hand out of her mouth she is well socialised,socialise your dog or not it will still bit an unfamiliar face bro that's not territorial its over protective is he a pet or guard dog if its a pet then you trained it wrong if its a guard dog he is only doing his work I love the muscles bullymax or load (pulling and lifting of loads) if you no want am again abeg give me na me 1st ask o

It doesn't go down to rottie owners alone but all dogs in general. Socialization goes a long way for d owner and d dogs themselves.

Sorry about d injuries.. U can still socialize ur dog but if u scared of him already maybe it's best to sell him off to smone who can handle him. Am a die hard rottie fan so I can understand ur story to an extent

OP, plz are u the owner of d dog? give us full detail of what happen. my dog was not aggressive, i stopped socializing him to make him aggressive and he has started barking and attacking strangers now . i want him to be as wicked as urs. my next dog would be rott.

@ Seun, pls make dis frontpage. A lot of dog owners keep their dog chained all day because of space, not knowing d risk inherent in such action

Don't sell it. It's doing what it is meant to do. Attack only visitors not welcomed.
I will advise you get a cage for it and put it in it during the day. Love Rottweiler and mine is just getting to a year but still not too aggressive. I distance it entirely from visitors and even little children at home.

if it too socialized it will not be able to protect you like the unsocialized one I don't see any sense in getting a big dog for security and you keep on socializing it if you want a socialized dog then go for toy dogs

Security is a state of mind with dogs.. A rottie wld b security conscious weda u socialize him or nt as long as he's in an enclosed environment he wld guard dere with his life.. Socialization doesn't have to deal with meeting different faces only but different faces, sounds, environments, situations.. This helps ur dog to b confident no matter where he is. A social dog is a confident dog, a scared dog is that dog ghat wants to bite anybody and everybody.

my female Rott is just 9months and she is worst than this. consider any animal that comes to my house dead including other adult and older dogs . I have been paying so much for the killings and people don't come to our house again.

Introduce ur dog bit by bit to new experiences. . It wld help ur pocket and help u build a confident dog. A dog that attacks and kills for no reason is a dangerous dog
