You just mentioned its features from what I can see, not what you can do with it. As far as I know, they're only good for making/receiving calls, and taking pictures, or is my assumption wrong?

In case u dont know,software optimisation matters alot.ios and windows oses are far more optimised dan android.y do u iphone 6 come with 1gb ram and its still run smoother than android fones of 3gb ram?; do iphone battery last long at lower Amps Hr?;y do windows phone makers still churn out fones with 512mb ram despite been stoppd by android oem?.. A good example is:windows 10 was tested on 9yr old laptop dat came out with window7 xp,only to realise dat windows 10 increased d battery life span by 1hr 30min and was faster dan xp...android wa7 written ön java dats not well optimised,dis av forced samsung to keep increasing dia specs to tackle dis flaws....imagine s6 edge plus specs on iphone 6s

I can only share my views, which I already did; the poster stated that he doesn't see any reason why anyone would use a Lumia, and I gave him a few reasons why they would.

These are things I noticed on Android and not Lumia. You can download on Lumia and leave the interface, you browse faster than the androids (bb and Samsung to be specific). The camera is very good.

What I don't like about it is you can't upload photos to websites directly. That's very bad anyway.

Even with uc browser too. If the issue he exprienced Is with IE. I'm sure its has been fixed with edge browser in windows 10

Flaw or not, it is another reason why android lacks behind others. And the issue can't be solved because it would require the operating system to be re written from scratch again. So manufacturers Use bigger rams and proccesors to cover up.

Duh, I've long upgraded to a better os. The truth is that even highest Lumia performs almost exactly as the low ones. If the small one couldn't do something, the big one as well can't. The difference u see in Windows phones is the design, the colour, battery, screen , camera, speed. But the functionalities are the same. So wake up already and stop deluding yourself.

To each his own....

There is not much to do with lumia phones, its users are simply stuck with it.

If it's not a Windows Phone (Lumia), it's not a phone. Too many things you can actually do. When I see a Lumia Phone user, I feel like I have seen a brother, with a straight belief that he/she knows what it is to be social, office apps plus the normal functions of phone. My Lumia 1020's camera will do you strong thing. RAM wont get used up like your Tecno does when you have mails synced to your phone.

Again, this should be simple. Every time I look around I see people(most time old people sha) holding Lumia phones and I use to wonder what exactly are they thinking. For me I think Lumia phones are just for people that are not too interested in technology. They just want to make and receive calls but also don't want to use Nokia torch cos maybe it makes them appear small so they chose to go the Lumia way.
Do you own a Lumia phone or know anybody that does? How true is my assumption?

i installed the window10 preview on my lumia 535 and i must say its a well done job by microsoft,though there are still some technical issues with it,some apps are not working perfectly,battery level is low...well its a preview anyway,i have tried moving back to 8.1 due to the issues but i discoverd i will have to waste 1.66Gb of my data to pot back so instead i had to reset my phone for it to work normal though not working like the 8.1,guess am stuck with it till the final release which rumours has it that it will be out by the end of this month,window 10 is gonna be da bomb.
