I met an eductional instructor who happened to be an interviewer for private and government schools that wants to recruit teachers and he opened up to me that alot of applicants failed to land teaching jobs for the following reasons.

1. Answering questions indirectly i.e beating arround the bush

2. Failing to ask the interviewer any question when the door is opened for them to ask.

3. Dressing in wizkid, davido kind of dress. You should dress in native or decently.

4. During mock teaching test, alot of applicants usually choose social studies or religious studies if they are asked to choose and teach any subject of their choice.

5. Negotiating salary before landing the job (private school)

What do u mean by the fifth reason? Is it after u are employed u will discuss salary or during the interview?
