Good evening Sir,

I hope this message gets to you, and that it does so in time as I still believe there is room for redirection in your strides towards being a robust opposition voice.

Firstly, I want to say that your name is fast becoming associated with so many jokes that I wonder whose side you are playing on, could it be that you are intentionally doing this to further bring down the PDP? Or do you genuinely believe in your heart that this is the way an opposition party should be run?

In recent times, you have been called many names, with the most used being "wailing wailer". Are you aware of this? Or does your disconnection from reality know no bounds? I do believe, again, that you are better than what is being portrayed today. For goodness sakes, you did not achieve the level you are today by not being intelligent; unless I am complete wrong. Pls prove me wrong.

The aim of my write up today is to advise you to take it easy on your rants. It seems everyday, you seek what Buhari has done or has not done and then you chose the exact opposite and castigate him with that. I don't want to give examples as I'm sure anyone who can read or have a discussion in Nigeria knows what I mean. May I remind you that it is loose and unguarded statements such as these you make today that causes the PDP the last presidential elections. Need I remind you that many would have voted for PDP or at least believed in your party had the likes of Doyin, Femi Kayode, and lastly Madam Patience just kept their mouths shut and not come up with baseless accusations against Buhari and the APC? Have you not learnt anything from your very recent defeat?

In any sport or war, he who loses goes back to study the tactic of the person who won so that when next they meet, he can perform better. Isn't it time you studied the tactic Buhari has used to obliterate you, and modify your attacks to better match his? Through out all the years Buhari contested and lost elections against your party, no one heard him making any false or baseless accusations on a daily basis against the PDP, all he did was put his facts right on areas you have indeed failed, so when the next election comes, when it matters most, he would present it to the electorate and convince them that he is a better candidate. Don't you see that he is a man that speaks little, and speaks only when it matters. Despite all the jargons you have spewed about him in the past months, have you not noticed that he has not even given you the honor as to respond to you?

I can go on and on about this, but because I believe you have got my point I will stop here. All I ask is, give Buhari the opportunity to try and when he starts failing, I mean really failing, then you can, with facts and figures come after him in a very calculated and constructive manner. Then your voice will be that of wisdom.

Secondly, we will not call you a weakling if you decide to keep quiet and watch what Buhari is doing to see what he intends to achieve. I do believe 3months is too short a time for you to judge the man. PDP held sway for 16years, and in all those years look at where Nigeria is, we cannot even treat a simple concussion for a high level politician who claims to have built a world class hospital in the country. Instead for a simple injury, which is not life threatening, he is flown abroad. Does that not speak volumes of what our great country has been reduced to.
Pls give Buhari and his team sufficient time to let us know where they intend to take us to, after about 2yrs of ruling, then you can speak up and give a report , so for the next 2yrs, he will try to address the issues you have raised, and where he fails, we, the electorate will vote him out as we did the PDP, and give someone else a chance.

In the end, all that matters is our great country Nigeria and not the PDP or APC or any other party. If he fails, we all fail, so best we offer support and give him a chance to succeed.

A word is enough....

Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Craig Motoman

Re: Word Of Advice To Chief Olisa Metuh by motoman(op): 12:57am On Sep 05, 2015
Well, I'm just hoping someone whom he listens to will read this and give him a talking to, who knows maybe one of his kids or someone else who could really pass the message. I am not trying to insult him or ridicule him, I would just like to see Nigerians coming together to hope for a better Nigeria instead of always being our own enemies and fighting even what we can see seems to be of good intentions; simply because we are of a different party or tribe or geopolitical region.

I supported the change from military to democracy, I supported the candidacy of Obasanjo, also supported that of Jonathan over Buhari the first time; but I didn't see Nigeria gaining with the level of impunity and corruption of our leaders, top to bottom, so I look forward to a change. I can change my party of support depending on the ideals of the candidate. As said before, all I want is a better Nigeria for me and my kids, and all Nigerians.

And Mr Metu if you're reading this as well, i'll advice you to ignore the OP! You're doing a sterling job exposing the shenanigans and two-faced nature of that evil party of broom-carrying witches and wizards!

The fool is talking rubbish when he posits that PDP lost partly because of Okupe and co; when we all know that from the onset, the northern hegemonic born-to-rule psychos and their southern helpers were dead-set on snatching the keys to Aso Rock back from that Ijaw 'usurper' regardless of what Okupe and co said or didn't say!

@Igboson1
Thanks for your comments, however I will appreciate if you look at things with a better perspective. I am very certain that deep down in your conscience, you know that PDP failed us as Nigerians. The level of corruption et al that ran in this country was too deep. Hence we needed a complete change....not necessarily in party, but more in ideals.

I don't care the party or the geographical region a person comes from, all I care about is one who can make things better for our country. As is, if Buhari fails in the 4yr tenure, we will by all means vote him out, and give another person the chance.

Would prefer if we held back sentiments and addressed the issues as should be, instead of picking on parties or religions or tribes. Thank you

OP, keep your advice. A distinguished individual, like Metuh does not need words from fascist lovers who know nothing about democratic values, opposition and criticism. He doesn't need to listen to someone who believes in the flagrant abuse of law processes. He can not bother himself with mediocre and hypocrites who badgered him with chants of injustice and corruption, but once given a little taste of power, turned around to be worse than a combination of Hitler/ Hussein/ Gaddaffi. Keep your advice, for sooner than later, you and your lord and saviour are going to need it. But unfortunately, you will then find out, it's no good at all.

.. Maybe its time Olisa Metuh swallowed his pride and took a crash course on how to run a viable "opposition" from Lai Mohammed.

Why would he take anything from a man, who on live TV said he could not read a 2800 page dossier. Olisa Metuh is not an illiterate like Lai Mohammed.

Whoever told you, you are funny, lied. They lied real hard

Which do you want: Economic Liberalism or Socialism welfarism. You sound to me, like an inconsistent and confused individual.

Good people,

No man is an island, even great men of our times have benefitted from taking advice from little unknowns.

What I have simply advised is that Chief Olisa reduces the unnecessary comments and maintains stay as a credible opposition. We do need people like him who are able to speak and journalists will broadcast their words; it will do him no good if he becomes known as a "wailing wailer" who loses that credible force.

He is striving for a better Nigeria I believe and not just for his party the PDP to rule; hence he needs to give the electorate some room to also explore the person they have voted for, when and if Buhari starts messing up, then we would need people like him to really stand up and offer good admonishment as a credible opposition. In some societies, the oppositions aim is not to "win back the power" but simply to serve as a guiding voice to ensure the leading party does not stray. He can choose this road to follow.

Besides, if he makes Nigerians turn their backs on Buhari after only 3months, then what has he achieved but to give us heart aches for the next 3yrs and 9months; as Buhari will have to complete his term without our support.

Thanks for the lessons in types government etc, I will not claim to know the different types of governments run at all times, but I stand confident to say when you see good governance being run, one that touches the lives of people positively, and I don't mean people who have ties to the govt in power, but the ordinary man; you can tell.

Maybe I have moved from centre-right to extreme-leftist, I do not know....but I'm yet to see a democratic government in Nigeria that is run with tangible benefits for a country as blessed as Nigeria, so for the sake of me and generations of Nigerians to come; I hope this new government will make a positive difference from the past ones and go steps further in development, while tackling our biggest challenges.

https://www.nairaland.com/2576802/eastern-nigeria-unite-akwa-ibom

.....Government house in Akwa Ibom was raided, according to news Weapons & Ammunitions were discovered Akwa Ibomites must unite and ask for explanations. How come APC been snapping photos since campaign days yet we can't see pictorial evidence of this scam! After trying hard to remove Akpabio as minority leader without success, they're bringing this cheap blackmail. We heard how Provisions and ammunitions were loaded in Choppers flown and delivered to Boko in Sambisa It makes me laugh how Akpabio will be so careless to stockpile arms in government house after his exit Pictures of Arms & Money proving the location, or this cheapest blackmail will backfire
