Hello,

Today, MTN blocked my line without notification. I guess the reason was because I have not yet re-registered my line but it was done abruptly and not message was sent to that effect.

As a result of this, I have missed crucial calls relating to my business and I'm still missing.

What makes this so painful is that I have gone to all their registration outlets on the Island and apart from the fact that so many people are there with very few staff attending to customers, they told us to go home because they are having technical challenges.

So my question is, why block people's personal lines when you are not ready to re-register them?

So I need your help. I would like to charge MTN to court for missed business deals and damages.

How do I go about it?

Let's deal with these companies that take us for granted.

I hope at least a human right /free Lance lawyer is among the people you cc'd?


Start a petition online after reading the policies / terms for usage of Sim, if there's a loophole a good lawyer should be able to find it

Otherwise it's a lost cause

First report this matter to the nearest police station
Second get a good lawyer to help you read the sim startup pack. Can you see the terms and conditions when you bought the sim card?

Anyway MTN is a useless network as far as I am concerned.

Send d money ur going to use and sue them to me

Mtn and APC are the most useless organisations in NiGERIA; closely followed by Nepa

bro, sadly yopu cant do anything, there is a disclaimer on the mtn sim on the terms and conditions, stating that the sim is a sole property of mtn and they reserve all rights to it, this means they can tamper with it, they can send unwanted msgs and yes they can block you
