Investors are fleeing and companies are laying off workers in their thousands and some iidiots are here chanting 'Sai baba' and talking about body language - I give them six months from now most of them won't even get the odour less fufu and bailout funds from the FG just then it would dawn on them. Right now the impending catastrophe is a like a child's play after all they still have Jonathan to blame for now. 13 Likes 3 Shares |

Kx:Most of the investors referred to in the article never invested in the Real Economy, they only invest in short term Financial Assets. What Nigeria needs now are Real investors and not Speculative investors. I think PMB needs to constitute his Economic Team ASAP. 1 Like |

Whynotthetruth: And your silly post reflects your own ignorance. We don't need fly by investors and currency speculators that bloomberg and other predatory investors represents. Brick and mortar investments are still trooping to Nigeria simply because the same economic factors and indices remains the same and Nigeria is still the number 1 investment destination in Africa. Walmart, the world's largest retailer is running to Nigeria. Procter and Gamble, the world's largest consumer goods manufacturer is investing billions in Ogun state on top of what they have in Ibadan. These are real investments and not the zero value nonsense blumberg is crying over... 1 Like |

plaindealer: You do realise that you are alluding to investment decisions made and statuses achieved, being the continent's top investment destination, when PDP was in power as a defence against the claim that the present government is exacerbating our economic woes? This is okay if you are not a partisan hack but since you are, the hypocrisy in your argument is rather glaring. 9 Likes |

Last time Mumuharry was here, people were queing up to buy scarce "essential commodities"like soap, cereal, powdered milk and rice in peace time. For some reason, some optimists were expecting miracles from improved body odour. Those investors that waited to this moment to flee are dumb to put it mildly. Smart investors left immediately the Animal was selected by JegaJega. Mumuharry decimating the Nigerian economy since 1984. 5 Likes |

Not surprised!! Words cannot express my anger at how utterly stuupid this government is, this unrest in the economy did'nt start today, it has been evolving and there has been crickets from aso rock, no reassurance from the govt. To investors, no emergency NEC meeting..they are just foolishly looking while the Nigerian economy goes to the toilet. I'm waiting for who they will blame when they wake from their slumber. This was one of the topics I posted last year, since most of you devilish hypocrites that are intent on ruining your own land (with your evil minds and actions) same way your fathers did (with their own evil and callous ways) still insist on doing things the same wicked ways. Ive never met anyone more sinister, evil and senseless like a Nigerian that'll cut his nose to spite his face over another's tribe and religion. A country running amok with dark minded people. https://www.nairaland.com/1985908/nigeria-broke-bloomberg-news 1 Like 1 Share
