Meanwhile in Osun state Aregbese only wants to pay half his arrears while gallivanting with the rest of the loan. https://www.osundefender.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/rauf28.jpg |

You expect him to put the funds in State house ?? or Governor's office? Firefire:And for theEdytos from the world quoting to insult me , this is for you Erdyots talking as if allocation is sent to Governor's personal bank account , Why would Aregbe transfer funds from state's account to another account for the purpose of investing ? Do you think he has the right , power / jurisdiction or balls to do that under the Law and hell won't be let loose , Aregbesola does not control the state's account , Also Let's say the news is true, what if he is trying to recover funds to help the same wailing civil servants ? |

The governor's had better not tamper with those funds or deploy them to purposes for which they weren't meant. What manner of greed is this?? Those monies were given primarily for the purpose of offsetting owed salaries and allowances of civil servants and shouldn't be used for anything else or hoarded to generate interest for anyone. I wish the FG had gone about this in such a manner the monies would be disbursed directly to the intended beneficiaries by the CBN through the various DMBs- but of course if that had been suggested, these insatiable an greedy politicians would turn it down because that would mean limited access to the booty. |

DaBullIT:Though the poster you quoted ALWAYS goes off key when he talks, I think Aregbe's case is particularly annoying. Why can't he immediately proceed to disburse the funds soon as he got hold of it?? Why the delay?? Who's pocket would the interest go into?? And his talk about paying half salaries is just totally unacceptable. What Aregbe is doing is condemnable on several levels. |

While you may be right, did it occour to you that there maybe circumstances surrounding his negotiations ? Do not forget that Other people that are not civil servants want something from the government too , something like good roads , water , security , and stuffs . Imagine, March salary and this is September, that is very wicked , but like i said last week, these same workers enjoyed 13 months salaries and other bonuses two years ago / last year before campaign kicked off , they should try to understand where the governor is coming from omenka: |
| Re: Tension As Governors Sit On Bailout Fund by omenka(m): 1:36pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
DaBullIT:Bro, the last time I checked, the money the states government are getting are specifically meant to offset salary arrears and not to build infrastructure. This is especially evident in the application letters forwarded to CBN by the various state governments wherein they quoted figures of salaries owed workers and mentions were not made of infrastructure. I understand what a tightrope these governors are working here, but they put themselves in this mess in the first place- when money was plentiful, they looted with reckless abandon while some sponsored celebrity weddings and sponsored "state delegates" to attend celebrity wedding overseas!!! They can't start discussing building roads and what not now that they scarcely have the wherewithal to do so. |
| Re: Tension As Governors Sit On Bailout Fund by DaBullIT(m): 1:50pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
While i may be inclined to agree that the bailout was specifically meant to offset salary arrears and all that, I do not agree that all governors put themselves in the message , Initially Jonathan deliberately took 35% off Osun's allocation for talking back during a campaign Then it was the fall in global oil price , Osun's allocation is now 35% of what it used to have Aregbesola embarked on breathtaking projects in Osun, and the evidence is out there , every town, state , in Osun had a facelift , and upgrade While that may be unwise i think his intentions were genuine and he wouldn't have had problems if not for the two main factors listed above Bottom line is , in times of excess he worked (Projects) He paid (13 months) he fed, (School Children) and they applauded , now that things are hard, they should be reasonable omenka: |

As usual, the corrupt governors must have stashed the money in fixed deposit accounts awaiting interest. We really need death sentence for corruption in this country |

I've always known that PDP governors will perform more the apc governors in this administration. Because they are now opposition and will not want to fall victims to the brainless messiah. AregbeTHIEF, OJImobi, oshiomOLE, okorONYEOSHI and the rest apc thieves will surely misbehave cos they know buhari can do nothing to them. Please no mastubating slave should quote me, quote yourselves rather. God bless PDP. God bless south south/south east. God bless the Biafra republic. |

If EFCC doesn't go after Aregbesola and jail him, may God make PMB's end be like that of Gaddaffi. ICPC and EFCC should not tell us that have no case of corruption against him. This is a man that shouldn't be employed to manage a petrol station governing a state. Now he is asking for primary school result. The same result PMB couldn't produced before election. All the primary school in Modakeke axis of Ile Ife were burnt down now I have two people looking for primary school certificate from such school. Aregbesola is going to end up like Nebuchadnezzar. He will fall from grace to grass. |
