Bashmantech:Team value has risen by at least 1.5m. The gain will be locked in when it is time to offload the players who form the core of the current bandwagon to be replaced by future ones. |
| Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2015/2016 by MaziOmenuko: 11:27am On Sep 12, 2015 |
Bashmantech:You don't understand the theory: its not about gaining money, its about getting the players when the prices have not risen. B4 the break, gomis was 7.4 (or so). Let's say i want gomis, kolarov, yaya in my team. If I don't buy them b4 the break when the prices had not risen, I will be paying additional +0.3m to get them today since their prices has all risen. So the guy we adviced to use his wildcard will buy all these players when their prices had not reason. Since the wildcard is still active, he can change his mind and replace them without loosing team value. Many managers bought Aguero on time not because he was so much in form, but if u don't get him when he was 13.0, sometime this season when he starts pumping in goals, you may have to pay as high as 13.8 to get him. Thats why its a marathon. |

MaziOmenuko:i get ur point, the initial argument was whether u could get 0.1 during the break i.e a player could gain 0.2.... |

This Kompany captain thing is starting to annoy me. All my rivals have had minimum 12 points headstart every week from GW1 |

MaziOmenuko:I tells you. That's how I sold Wilson and the Ninja bagged a hattrick the next week ![]() |

Aguero and wildcards have often turned out to be bad luck for me. The Man City guy either got injured or a card on a blank whenever I brought him in. Wildcard weeks have also been among my lowest scoring ones. It's deja vu all over again. I taya o. ![]() |

| Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2015/2016 by Bashmantech: 4:33pm On Sep 13, 2015 |
what's d essence of playing 3 strikers... this season is so full of shi.t. I'll jus start playing 4-4-2 or 4-5-1.. 3-4-3 is now rubbish. my team hasn't scored a goal this GW. |

Bashmantech:Better still play five at the back. At least until normalcy returns. That's how the top 100 are doing it . |

I still don't understand the Criteria in which BONUS POINT(S) are given to players. Not the best of week for New 3 POINTERS, anyway thanks to the duo of Vardy and Mahrez who put some respect to GW5 point. (42) |
