What are the better ways to sell domains, instead of listing it those big marchant like godaddy and sedo.. Am also into this business
being in this business does not mean you can make money from it. starting with half or incomplete information will equally force you out. there are several ways to sell your domain name apart from going to godaddy or sedo. have you tried contacting potential end users? have you tried going for auctions? {some are free while some you pay for listing} have you tried other marketplaces and parking companies such as afternic, domainnamesales.com and undeveloped.com and finally how good are your domain names can you pay a high price for it if you're to buy it? finally how long have you been in this industry and how's your portfolio like? if you haven't done all these or can't answer all these questions, say exactly where you need help.

I wanted to buy a soon to expire domain. When I clicked on buy now, it took me to payment section where I was told to pay for both the soon to expire domain and also 1yr .com domain renewal fee.

So my question is this. Is the renewal fee a must when buying am expired domain. Thank you

i have bought an ebook that shows a detailed view of how to navigate through the top registrars, how to sell for top dollar. And i and the seller have entered into agreement that if i sell any of his ebook we would split the dividends.here is a preview.........................................................Next up we’re going to take a look at how
to use GoDaddy’s marketplace.
First, a quick note. GoDaddy acquired Afternic in 2013, but I have a
separate section for Afternic. Afternic will remain a separate marketplace.
At some point many of GoDaddy’s marketplace options, including the
Premium Listings you’re about to read about, will go away as they become
redundant with Afternic. I will update this report as necessary when these
changes are made.
GoDaddy is a behemoth in the domain name registration world. About half
of all new domain name registrations take place at GoDaddy.hit me up by posting your emails if you are interested
It wasn’t always this way. Few had heard of the registrar before its savvy
marketing campaigns, including Super Bowl commercials, made waves.
But now GoDaddy is a force to be reckoned with.
Remember how I told you there are two ways end users typically find out
domains are for sale? They either go to a parked page or they type the
domain in at their registrar.
Given that about half of these people check for domains at GoDaddy, it’s
really beneficial to be in the “registration path” at GoDaddy.
There are a few ways to get in this registration path. One way gets your
domains in the registration path and allows customers to add your domains
to their cart, checkout, and get the domains in their account within
minutes: GoDaddy Premium Listings.
A GoDaddy Premium Listings lets you set a fixed price for your domain. If
someone searches for the domain on GoDaddy they’ll see something like
this

that's one of those things discouraging several people from venturing into online business because several people have been disappointed. you bought an ebook and now you want to be reselling it even without seeing results. nothing wrong in selling information product but let it what you have tried and see positive results. i know that this thing has not worked for you, if it has worked for you nothing stops you from being original and teach others directly from your experience. that's not the best way to do it.

it's a good domain and brandable. selling it fast requires listing it at auctions and contacting potential end users. however if you want to sell it very high, leave it for some time.

You guys are really trying.... For anybody willing to venture into this business, please note at the back of your mind that this biz is not a get rich quick business. I have been into this business for close to 3yrs now, but recently am begining to enjoy the dividends. I recently sold 2 of my domain names gotransgender.com and trailruns.org well the 2 sales are close to $1000 in total sha. But i must confess, it has not bn easy to do research on how to do this and that. If anyone is interested in doing this biz am available to tutor u but for anyone willing to follow DIY(do it yourself) metthod can go to Namepros.com you can learn there too.

I have learnt something recently, NEVER BE IN A HURRY TO SELL YOUR DOMAINS. I sold a domain name for $349 on Godaddy premium listing 2weeks ago and could you believe the amount the Buyer is willing to resell? $3500, he has 4 bid for it already. So please dont be in a hurry!
