The only reason Chel.s.h.i.tz were the best last season waz cos Utd, As,s.nal & City were poo in form in all competitionz they went for & this season they have decided to sit up & have left Chel.Poo behind.....but everything could change should the other 3 mess up in the UCL |

raumdeuter:Sagna Kolarov Zabaleta Clichy were all there last season. Why did the competition not bring out the best of them last season? Kolarov was a bit of a Joke last season. Sagna did not even get a look in. If not for Zabaleta and Clichy's early season injuries those two might not even see shirt. Kompany and Mangala were already beastin before otamendi was signed. It's not any nebulous competition that has caused Kolarov and Sagna to have at least one assist each. If any thing, their positions are quite safe for now as both their competitors are injured or just coming back from injury Check Chelsea, Who is the realistic replacement for your pack 4 of Iva-Cahill-Terry and Azpi? Just Zouma. At least 2-3 of your defenders are underperforming yet no one to keep them on their toes. Also talking about City. Yaya had a dip in form last yr and you dont expect that to continue. What happens on the field starts in training. When Navas sees Sterling and De bruyne in training who are better rated than him, do you think he would still be playing those blind crosses?Navas still missed empty post this weekend and while Sterling has a goal and assist, he has looked quite average these days. But what those two lack in ability, they make up for in DESIRE. And that is what is keeping City going right now...you can see across the pitch how much these guys want it.Pressing high everywhere, tracking back when needed(Even Yaya Toure) I've see Sterling intercept a ball at Right Back this season. Messi and Ronaldo while being Marquee wouldnt achieve much without the backup. If there was no Rakitic last season or Di maria upper season both messi and Ronaldo might be trophyless in those seasons. Its someone behind the Ronaldo and Messi that makes them workHaving a multiple Balon d'or winner in your squad significantly boosts your prospects of dominating in Europe even if the rest of the team are rubbish. Having a fantastic team AND a balon d'or winner in your squad improves your chances even more. Clever Scouting alone cannot rectify that Between 2000 and 2010 Bayern had 1 CL, Porto had 1 CL, Chelsea had none. If you were to analyse as at 2009 which was the more likely team to win the CL who would you pick? As at today if you are to say who would likely win a CL between Bayern, Madrid Inter and Chelsea who would rank top and who would be below(Note all have 1 CL each in the past 10yrs)A Prediction is not a fact. You could argue that Bayern's model may have improve their chances, but history will remember that model as ultimately achieving only the same amount of success as Porto and Chelsea between 2004 and 2015. That is a fact. While its easy to pick on Ivanovic I doubt thats the only problem. Are you saying If you replaced Only Ivanovic you would have won all your games?Ivanovic is not the only target. Ivanovic is the MAIN target Chelsea has conceded 64 crosses from the Right Flank this season. That is the highest in the league Chelsea has conceded 28 chances down the Right Flank this season. That is the highest in the league These are clear facts. Everybody is looking for Ivanovic when Chelsea comes to town. |

Chelsea Football Club will be raising money for Syrian refugees when they take the pitch against Maccabi Tel-Aviv on Wednesday. The Blues are joining many of Europe's top clubs in their support of Uefa's '90 minutes of hope' campaign, which is designed to help refugees obtain education and psychological care. The Blues will donate one Euro from every ticket sold, which should total somewhere in the vicinity of £42,000 from a sold out Stamford Bridge. In addition, the club will be auctioning off the players' matchday shirts, which should eliminate the potential controversy of a halftime shirt swap. The fundraising won't be limited to this Wednesday's match, as the club has announced that they'll continue to raise money this weekend against Arsenal. As with the Maccabi Tel-Aviv clash, one Euro per ticket sold will be donated, and the club will hold a 'bucket campaign' in an attempt to raise additional funds for the cause. |

raumdeuter:The only notable changes at Dortmund are Januzaj, Castro and Weigl... Change of Tactics might be one of the reason for their very good form, but Klopp tactics can't be the reason they were very poor last season... The same tactics that gave 2 league titles and almost a UCL..... My point is,Psychology plays a big part in all this..... City is a big example |

Mourinholic:Tactics get found out. Even the great tiki taka tactics isnt as efficient as it used to be. You need to keep reinventing tactics. Klopps gegen-pressing was revolutionary and took people by surprise when it first came out but later people would find a way of beating you unless you change |

Anyone who watches any football at all would know Mochengladbach have lost all 4 games they played in the league this season and sit firmly at the bottom of the Buli When we say some people have no football intelligence. this is an example Comparing a team who lost all league game and lost away at Sevilla to a team topping the EPl table who won all their games and lost at home to Juve |

A League where one team can pay over 80m euros for Firmino and Benteke. Is that one a league? How much did City spend again? Probably more than Nigeria's budget. Smh Iku o ni pa maga wa oo |

@nateevs, bros, you know what they say in my place "Краткость — сестра таланта" - Brevity is the soul of wit. (hope I got that right) ![]() Not to boast at all but you will agree that composing long essays just to drive home a point here on NL is in most cases, a useless exercise. Something I don't always have the hankering for. To cut the long story short, I think its pretty obvious what Jose needs...a kick up his backside and some strong competition within the team. Costa, Iva, Fab, Hazard, Terry, Matic and Co know they will ALWAYS start no matter how bad they play. This is not healthy at all. |

raumdeuter:Afofun, you don come again, abi? Juventus have not won any game this season in their Serie A, yet they managed to beat ManCity. Stop making ridiculous excuses for one of your useless Buli team here. Nothing stops Mochengladbach from performing the same feat as Juve did. Afofun oshi. ![]() |

Spiky Mourinho refutes ‘third season syndrome’ In a testy exchange with BBC Sport’s Ben Smith, Mourinho rejected the idea that performances of the teams he has managed deteriorated in his third season in charge. “Look, my third season – in Porto, I didn’t have a third season. My third season in Inter, I didn’t have a third season. My third season at Chelsea the first time, I won the FA Cup and the Carling Cup, and I played the Champions League semi-finals. My third season in Real Madrid, I won the Super Cup, I lost the cup [Copa del Rey] final, and I went to the Champions League semi-finals. These are my third seasons…,” Mourinho said. Mourinho, however, went berserk when BBC Sports’ Ben Smith would not budge. The following conversation ensued: “Ben Smith: Sure, but you know what I’m getting at… Jose Mourinho: So click Google, instead of making stupid questions, click Google and try to find. Ben Smith: Jose, you know what I’m getting at though, don’t you, how important is it for you to build… Jose Mourinho: No, you spoke about the third season, and I am telling you that the question is stupid, because the third season is what I told you. Ben Smith: Jose, you know the point of the question… Jose Mourinho: No, I know the point, the point is that the question is stupid. I am sorry…” |

raumdeuter:Delusion knows you by name! What have form got to do with the fact that Monchengladbach are the third best team in Germany? raumdeuter:The way you're quick to type ''intelligence'' would have one thinking you're close to what Einstein have got to offer, not knowing that you're one celebrated airhead this site have been housing for eons. raumdeuter:Chelsea have lost 3 games out of 5 thus far, does that make them less of English champions? Monchengladbash finished third in the Burnthisleaguedown log last term and by that virtue are the third best team in Germany, that's a fact. They traveled to Spain and got sodomized by Sevilla who finished 5th In Spain, that's another fact. Failure to acknowledge facts is the sole reason you and your ally are found slithering from one thread to another, getting involved in endless silly arguments and having your ignorance laid bare. |
