From sickness you learn how to take care of yourself better and what to avoid.

I was scarily sick a few months ago, it was almost a 50-50 thing...

I learnt there's nothing in this life and we can't help ourselves when death comes.

I drew closer to God, and learnt there is power in His name!

I learnt to live right because my life is not truly mine.

I learnt that it's good to have a clear mind, bear no grudges against anyone (because it actually helped my prayers).

I learnt to be careful with what I eat.

I still thank God for snatching me from the hands of a possible death.

yes, its important to learn from sickness and if you are lucky and God delivers you through it, one should not show unappreciation.


there's a Yoruba song:

"Eniyan iba ma, yin Oluwa'

fun ore re lori awa omo eda

ope, iyin ogo lo ye f'oruko re"


it means people should learn to praise God more for His mercies.

As we speak, I have been indisposed for 2 days now. It is the reason I am awake now having slept for the most part of the day.

In sickness I have learnt that you can allay the fears of people around you by still making jokes even when you are shivering. It kind of loosen people up.

God, oh that you perfect my healing in Jesus name.
