Well, Amakiwe Uchechukwu (born 27 May 1985), better known by his stage name as Xtype, is a Nigerian artist, songwriter and performer.

He started his musical career at age 22;he signed a record deal with Nas Entertainment Ltd. He rose to prominence in 2014 with the release of the song "Beautiful People".

His work and contribution to the Nigerian Music Industry has earned him several achievements, he has been nominated three times at the ABA Music Awards as well as four times at the World Music Awards. He was ranked 12th on Forbes and Maggi's 2014 list of the Top.[5][6] In February 2014.
