Hey people! I'm aspiring to be a general in the army in future; and I have been informed( by some generals) that before such will be possible, that I have to go through Nigerian Defence Academy.

The issue here is that I'm 23year plus(23+); and will be 24 on 28th of december this year. I'm also a graduate of b.sc physics, awaiting NYSC come next month - october 28th. In this regard and by calculation, I'll be spending a whole year in the program; which means, I will still be 24 upon completion of NYSC program next year, and probably around 25years old when I eventually gain admission into the institution.

Finally, I'm afraid that my age may be a kinda hinderance. Because recently, I overheard some side discussions, that for a person to be admitted into the school, that the person's age must never exceed 20... Please I need urgent answer, especially from co-Nairalanders who are students in the institution. Because, I don't wanna go through short service at all, as I'm being pressured in some quarters.

an applicant must be 17-21 yrs old during admission. There's still hope for you. You can enroll for the short service course
