Two Nigerians with a lifeless human body in their possession, have been arrested by the Police in Accra.

This arrest took place in and around Haatso, a suburb of Accra, Thursday, after the Toyota Corolla car they were driving was stopped for inspection.

The lifeless body wrapped in a yellow Polythene, was found in the boot of the car.

VIDEO: Car knocks woman dead, driver arrested

A driver of a Toyota Corolla in police custody after allegedly knocking down a woman dead. Earlier reports claimed that two Nigerians had been arrested with a lifeless body, but that information has been debunked.

In an interview with Viasat1 News Online, one Prince Chike, who claimed he witnessed the accident, condemned the report. He explained that the taxi only conveyed the lifeless body of the victim to the police station, and the video showed when it was being carried from the taxi into a police van.

According to Prince, the accident happened at Taifa and left three people were injured. He confirmed to Viasat1 News Online that the driver is indeed a Nigerian, but he was the only one arrested and is still in police custody.

Someone just gave a valid reason, that it was a motor accident and not for ritual purpose.
