The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the PDP of openly launching a counter-offensive against the determined efforts of the Buhari Administration to rid the country of impunity and corruption, but warned that the opposition party will fail in its attempt to take Nigerians back to Egypt

‘’Saturday’s Press Statement by the PDP is nothing but a thinly-veiled frontal assault on the relentless efforts of the Buhari Administration’s to clean the Augean Stable of the last PDP Federal Government,’’ the party said in a statement issued in Lagos on Saturday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed

‘’With its statement that is nothing but an unabashed support for impunity and corruption, as well as its major actors, the PDP has now confirmed itself as the official ‘poster boy’ for corruption in Nigeria,’’ it said.

APC said the long-winding sophistry about the rule of law, democracy and personal freedoms is aimed at couching the PDP’s abhorrence and disdain for the fight against corruption in democratic cliches, especially now that the battle is gradually hitting the PDP where it hurts.

‘’For the PDP to brush aside the latest revelation that a government it sired could not account for $700 million from the Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF), or the fact that the party could not account for billions of Naira in its own campaign funds, and then launch a frontal attack against a reformist government, is the height of shamelessness”, it said.

Well said....am really ashamed that a group of people can go so loww to defend corruption in its highest level, bt alas I shuldnt b cos that's what has constituted their moral fabric for the past 16 years!
Instead of them to hide their criminal head in shame, they come out from time to time to issue press statements defending and condemning every act to fight and get Nigeria rid of corruption!
A disgrace to future generations is the legacy pdp intends leaving behind!

PDP want to return us back to their days of looting. Even their wailing fans here want Buhari to all those criminals to keep all they looted. That is why they have been insulting Buhari since day one.

Olisah Metsuh or whatever he calls himself is a learner, he's just further killing the chances of PDP coming back to power, how will you be backing someone even a blind man knows is corrupt.

That is why Buhari cannot deliver his promises also due to 'virtually empty treasury' yet he paid billions to state governors who sponsored his campaign under the guise of bailout for owed salaries & pensions.
No wonder the governors REFUSE to pay but are putting it infixed deposits the same way DauraDullardinho fixed our $2.8 billion in the 70s.

The question is which part of the APC the ones who swore to defend saraki or the CAN faction in fact the heading should be ACN alleges PDP...... From the look of things jagaban is ridiculing himself. I guess he is just reinforcing he is a local champion. And its gradually been seen by all.
