I didn't wanna comment abt this religion tin befor but I tink I've to, I don't argue wen it comes to religion cos I'm not an Arab I read and listen to scholars.

Firstly I think d way u muslims in d northern part of nigeria take Islam is to d extreme even Arab aint takin it dat way. I'm a Muslim and I've spoken wit Muslims frm Saudi and dubai. We nigerians take religion as if na do or die affair, av u ever ask urself why r u a Christian or a Muslim? It's base on what u met ur family,ur close relations doing.

Back to d issue of jihad, we Muslims need to change d orientation of people abt d word "jihad". If u mention jihad wat comes to people's mind is war,fight,terrori$t et.c. I want u to put d word "jihad" for Google and see what's gonna show up first. Islam which is a religion of peace has been tagged wit war and violence by d western world base on their selfish interest.

My personal opinion is dat, if possible I think it's beta we say wat we wanna say abt Islam in full without d mention of d word jihad cos presently d word has been tagged wit war. Any small argument u will hear Muslim brothers saying dey wanna go for jihad fight, this statement annoys me alot. We r human beings, nobody can fight on behalf of d creator,no, rather we fight each other base on our selfish interests.

So my bros always express ur opinion or meaning of jihad in ur communication with people, let's show people Islam is a religion of peace, Muslims don't lack anytin in life,be it money,wealth,Every good things in life cos we've so many way on our to request tinz frm Allah in d holy Quran. Islam is blessed wit abundant resources,its nw left for us to use it well for d advancement of mankind.
