According to reference dictionary, witch hunting is an intensive effort to discover and expose
disloyalty, subversion, dishonesty, or the like,
usually based on slight, doubtful, or irrelevant
evidence. Hence, in presence of relevant and details evidence(s), Political witch hunt becomes legitimate.
Drawing from an extensive literature on the European witch-hunt, McCarthyism, and the Chinese Cultural Revolution, the extent to which the leader has better information about the level of the alleged menace than the populace, together with other variables, jointly determine the incidence of witch-hunts.
Now, let's come down to Nigeria where everything from truth and evidences are termed WITCH HUNT. A country where crimnals work freely, talks about transparency and rule of law, a country where Dansuki case is termed witch hunt, and how about Ameachi probe and the A'bom invasion? Oooo!!! i remember now!!! a witch hunt as well. A country where both the APC And the PDP exalts corruption, but only chosses to look different when its favours them. The only advantage the APC is enjoying at the moment is the Buhari feel. And am glad I was part of the change agent that brought him on board
Australia, Malaysia, China e.t.c were once worse than Nigeria one way or the other. They united and removed all the negative people that prevented them from progressing. Advanced countries did the same and even underwent horrible wars. Ours is ordinary probe.
The uniqueness of Saraki's case is beyond what it is at the moment. Take for instance, months ago the PDP's were saying they were tired of Buhari's probe this and that. Infact they even advised he begins the probe immidiately , but Buhari in his wisdom kept mute and continued in evidence collections locally and internationally, making monetary policies as against the dollar criminal politician. And that's why people like Akpabio couldn't take their dollar out, instead they kept it indoor hoping Buhari and the CBN would change some of the policy with time "bad thinking"

Today, we are reading, discussing and probaly arguing about the biggest conviction to happen in the history of this country, and this can only happen with me, you and your support. The fight against corruption is starting from the ruling party itself, not just against a local government chairman but the number three citizen in the country. It is going to be a painful one if you ask me, but it can never be compared to those that have died and still dying due to poor medical facilities in the country, bad roads, the jobless unemployed graduates.

Nothing good comes easy. If we must progress, the
government must step on these over-sized toes and
trampling on the fragile ones cruelly. We must hunt those witches down for justice and progress. The shocker is yet to come, soon Nigerians will come to know what it means to be a leader. Hard times awaits everyone that has short-changed you and I.
The fight against corruption has got to start somewhere
and with someone. Ostensible investigation to uncover subversive, disloyal, e.t.c doubtful activities of public office holders in the last dispensation is welcome. Nigerians need neither a scapegoat or a sacred cow, but equity and justice. All looters are grossly culpable and must face the music now as their time is up. Moreover, Tu Baba's birthday was two days ago, am sure he can help them with the right music from his album.

For every witch, there must be a hunter. If you are a witch, expect a hunter to hunt you down.

For you to be named a witch, you must have exhibited a characteristic of one.

One thing i like about this witch hunting is that it sends fear deep down into the souls of these reprobates, renders them incapacitated, and ultimately minimizes their nefarious activities.
Let the witch-hunting continue...as long as it imposes sanity on our nation.
