Last week Monday, i was at work when i received a phone call from airtel claiming that i have won N5000 from the airtel hit a million promo. At first i taught it was a scam, but i decided to play along(btw i had nothing to loose).
The airtel customer care agent asked me how i will like to receive the cash, either by airtime or to my account. I choose account, he asked if i had a current account, i said no. He was now like i can only receive it on a current account.
In order to strike even, i decided to accept it via airtime. And to my greatest surprise, by Tuesday morning my line was credited with N5000.
Eventually i was happy, but the down side of the story is that i would have preferred cash instead. I still haven't been able to sell it up till today. So annoying
