I know a lot of us here would grab an opportunity if offered to own a forum/blog as big as Nairaland.

Well, my retrospect here is backed by the opinion that many great establishments you see today once had humble beginnings. Though I don't have any relationship whatsoever with the creator of this great forum, I have been able to do some little research and it is from my research that I would share my thoughts.

When Nairaland started in 2005, there were no adverts on the site. I guess Seun was praying to drive as much traffic as the site boasts of today. Well fast forward to 2015; 10 years later, Nairaland is the top forum in Nigeria with the most traffic. No wonder Seun has become very wealthy from the fees/charges for advertisement.

In essence, I just want to encourage everyone reading this, what ever that is good and you dream of establishing, do not hesitate. The beginning might be rough or slow, but in a matter of years you could be telling a different story.
