hmm kdramas are cool with out critisism they cant get better leave it or take it as for me the kdrama dat was realy poor where iris and bridal mask and even glass mask those movies where acted as if they where acted by the japs(lol frankly speaking japanese movies are annoying)and as for gangnam blues it deserved lot of critisism because if am not mistaken was the worstest by lee min ho(lol not because of the nudity)but there was sumtin not rite about the movie i even wonder y oppa lee min ho finds himself in that mess

seriously, I watched gangnam blues and I regret watching it, the movie was rough from beginning till the end. and the sex scenes really made no sense. the sex scenes have nothing to add to the movie.
I never imagined seeing Lee min ho being involved in such nonsense movie.
at least the role he played back then in the city hunter was a good one sha.

you must be new to Korean movies. They always have a sex scene(80%). no be drama o. Dramas get limit to scenes but movies,no way.
If you are gonna watch K-movies,you should expect scenes like that even from your favorite actors or better still don't watch at all.

you got it 100% right. I liked the site when it was cool and they just went with the flow, till I noticed the recent trend of too harsh and too much criticism. I mean, let them go act themselves if it's a piece of cake.

It's good to critique. I do it too because hey! It's your job and you should be able to convince me on the role you play. But when it borders on the ridiculous, it's a different issue.

Is Joo Won in Young Pal? This is my first time hearing of the drama. Is it interesting? Though I don't think I need to ask(it's Joo won!) Lol

Just curious,are u an avid reader of koala playground? I haven't seen such amount of prejudice in a blog before.I'm having a hard time believing the blogger is a matured lady.I prefer reading the comment section cos I find some of the comments funny.

I heard they are going to finish shooting the drama before it airs, so I guess that's why. Looking at KBS drama line-up, DoS will likely air December in a Wed-Thu timeslot.

I hope they won't postpone the airing date to next year.Just hope it would be sooner instead of Dec.

You are very correct, hillda, akoalas own no be for here, as in she makes u wonder with all the negativism. Dramabeans commenters are loyal as long as db criticizes a movie most of them criticize it also, lol

I'm a minoz(but not a saesang).

I agree with wislet. So far,there hasn't been projects(well,he has an upcoming one called bounty hunters. he ll act alongside Chinese ppl). LMH has been doing one CF to another,traveling from one country to another. To be frank,its taking a toll on him. Its showing on all his airport pics. The country's tourism unit is using him too much. He's the money machine for his agency and he's been overworked too. Bro needs rest.

Now concerning his acting:
I became a LMH fan after watching BOF in 2010 (I was only into k-movies).I was a newbie into kdramas but not a newbie for their movies. I enjoyed it and fancied him. As time went on,i became more open into the kdrama world. Saw different ranges of acting. As time passed,I watched BOF again and I kept rolling my eyes till they almost popped out of their sockets. I wasn't impressed with the acting,although I must say,LMH saved the life of that drama. He went on to act in "personal taste" I loved it cuz it was a more mature role. Faith came,although it was draggy and the storyline fell by the wayside,I still loved him in it. And then came HEIRS..I WAS NOT IMPRESSED(story for another day). LMH is a good actor(there are others better than him sha) but he likes to go for the same roles. Then came Gangnam blues, his acting (to me sha) really showed. it was more mature and a different genre to the normal ones we are used to seeing him act in. But I still feel that he should go back to his love for acting and try to become better and better (Kim soo hyun is a hallyu star but he still goes to acting skul to improve himself).

As for the award for popularity:
yes we know he's popular. he's still the number one hallyu star but winning the same awards for the popularity is becoming stale. it no longer has meaning. Gone are the days when the popularity award was given for the shows you acted in and how it was acknowledged but now,its all for nought.

Criticism:
Actors will Always be criticized. it has its advantages and disadvantages. As fans,reading criticisms can be good(we get to learn things and hope our bias can improve on them) and bad(fanwars).
I am a LMH Stan, and I have been his number 1 critic(in this thread,soompi, DB, u name it). Its OK to criticize an actor, its also ok to defend him but we have to be reasonable. Why abuse just cuz you don't like what is being said? I believe we are matured enough to voice opinions and defend however we can. insults are never the way.
Even JCW,I can criticize and defend but I won't insult just cuz he's my ultimate bias. Please let's be civil.

it seems you are new to kmovies. some kmovies are like that,and you may discover ur favourite actors in some of them.

Watch Penny pinchers,and see Song joong ki kissing an actress on a mattress and grabbing her chest while doing so.
watch late Autumn and see my Hyun bin kissing an actress like a hungry lion(the hottest kiss I have ever seen since watching kmovies and dramas.this one is very decent,only hot kisses).
Watch "twenty" and experience vulgarity at its peak(use of filthy words).
watch frozen flower,I won't tell u what you would see if u watch this one.
The first three I mentioned are decent cos they have their clothes on and I prefer watching those kinds of movies,instead of movies with unclad scenes.

I avoid that site as much as possible. I find the lady really biased and I don't like the way she criticises.

you read koala too? I have never seen a blogger soooo biased like her. She's never satisfied with actors. She had a problem with wookie for over shining JJM in empress ki.She actually has problems with actors over shining veterans. I read her blog for Intl scoops but she annoys me with the way she blogs about ppl. DB is a nice and cool site it just that recently,commenters have started to be brutal. criticisms are getting too harsh.

Before Yoochun (lead actor for the gal who see smells) went to the army,he was in a movie that involved a sex scene. I laughed when his fans were complaining.
I'm not complaining sha. wookie might decide to do the same and I will gladly watch it as a true fan. I'm gonna watch for support and NOTHING else

I watched empress ki cos of Ji Chang wook. joo jin mo was such a bore in that drama.His parts bored me to death.

I have noticed that Koala doesn't like Wookie that much.The way she writes about healer made me think so.Healer was the most commented drama since the history of dramabeans,so I think it may be jealousy, I'm not sure though.

Her hatred for Lee min ho is so obvious, so that one is out of question.Lee min ho's fans attack her sometimes and I like reading their comments cos they make me laugh.

she likes writing about Lee min ho,park shin hye,ji Chang wook,Suzy etc cos articles about them bring in more visitors to her site.
I 've noticed that she likes Suzy,despite her lack of acting skills.
