Good morning all.
I am using an HP Elitebook 8440p. I have been using it since January without any issue. I used it to browse some hours ago from 6:15 - 8:30am this morning. After i finished using it, i switched it off. I tried to switched it on now to use, it will ON, but it will just show Starting Windows and it won't go beyond that point. It hangged.
Please i need advice from Nairalanders on what to do, any good suggession(s) is welcome.

Did you hibernate or completely shutdown down?

Seems you are in need of a roll back.

Your shut-down might have caused your problem.

Try a system restore, though you will lose some recent installations.

@Chloride6, I didn't hibernate, i just shutdown in the normal way... And trying to On it again, it refused to boot, it just hangged on (starting windows)

Have u tried the system restore ?

or booted into safe mode ?

I tried but it didn't work. It was showing me that my Hard Disc has problem... Thanks for the concern.
