He did not sing, not a word,
Silent stance all we heard,
Condemnation echoed round,
Pressing pack start to hound.

Why should we to God request?
Special treatment, our behest,
Exclusive rights for royal line,
Petitioning this God divine.

Rather sing to help the poor,
Lift them up, treat the sore,
Give them succour, hungry feed,
These are truly those in need.

Greedy graspers, golden crown,
Covered in an ermine gown,
Needle’s eye for camel grand,
Expecting aid from Godly hand.
