so that's 180/8 + 100/2??so wat if sum1 scores 180 in jamb and 50 in pume..so after calculating which wud be 180/8 + 50/2=47.5..which is low dat means to enter state uni is harder dan federal cos federal would divide 200/8 and states r dividing 180/8..doesn't dat mean states are harder to get into than federal..?incase u dnt understand my point let's say I set a test for u..which is over 100..and I tell u that I wud divide ur score by 2 bfor giving u ur final score..and am giving sum1 else d same test and dividing his score by 8 bfor I get his final score..it means no matter what u would pass him..I dnt know if u get my point..anyways,pls do you know how yabatech calculate their aggregate?I'd really appreciate

It's ur jamb score and post jamb score that matters.
And it also depends on the school.
Some schools use ur Waec, jamb and post jamb.
But i think it's easier to enter into a state University dan federal. Due to the rate at which people apply for federal Universities.
And i don't know anything about Yabatech.

yabatech does same.

Whether divided by 8 or 2 is the same thing.there is what they call scale. LASU makes use of scale of 1-100 while school like UNN,OAU even JAMB make use of scale 1-400.what it means is that someone that got 50%in LASU is equivalent to someone that scored 200 in OAU,UNN or JAMB.that 47.5 is equivalent to 190.i.e just multiply or divide by 4 when converting from one scale to another.

Lasu only sent the names of those that chose them to Jamb,don't forget that candidates that didn't choose lasu will still do change of institution/course after been given admission ,so their names can only be sent to Jamb after they have successfully change their institution to lasu.
