Commonly known as a habit.. most guys both married and unmarried has been living their whole life without bathing with sponge.
Out of my three brothers, only one has a sponge. The rest goes into the bathroom, rubs soap on their head, pours water and the next thing they are done.
That is why some of their towels are easily and quickly gets dirty under few days. I once went on research with questionnaires for a debate I participated in. My findings was very interesting, when asked why they bath without sponge, the most popular answer they give is "I am not a woman and don't have that kind of time to waste"
It is very important for guys to be the ones to use sponge more than the females because some of their jobs involves been under few the stress of the sun and even those on manual labours unlike the ones working in the offices with Air conditioner on throughout the day. It is also necessary for health purposes.
One of them asked a question " what is the reason for a lady to sponge at night during bath only to sleep for 7 hours on her bed and wake up in the morning and enter the bathroom to start sponging again? What are they trying to sponge out during their morning bath?"
Guys here.. do u bath with sponge? If u don't, what is your specific reason for that.

I don't actually. This is simply because I lived in a very cold region and using sponge will leave my skin in jeopardy.

was it just my words that it warranted calling chocolateme abusive names?thought we were just sharing opinions.. anyway, its ok, I wasn't expecting a mature communication to flow between us. Thought guys are more respectful than ladies in terms of flow of communication or interactions without bringing immature use of careless words.

Ok, maybe they don't want to waste time in the bath room, me o I use sponge but it don't take me up to 5 minutes to bath.

You are right.bathing with sponge helps especially in removing those tough stain in the body.during my school days I observe that.mny guys Dnt like using sponge.

Even in good countries, like America, where they have friendly weather condition than ours in this country, they bath with sponge.

Our weather is harsh and I wonder why a man should take bath without sponge when you urinate and go to toilet.

Na waoooooo. Op, better advise your brothers or those involved to always make use of their sponge because when they wee wee, they must have part or the urine drop on their boxers and such they must bath with sponge.

For me, I do not play with my toiletries,I make sure that my sponge, toot past, speed stick deodorant, my body spray and cologne are available and once I get up from bed, I walk straight to bathroom to clean up first b4 attending to anybody no matter how early in the morning.

What you stated here on this subject matter is what me as a man, would have brought up because I found that most Nigerian men find it hard to take proper care of themselves. Some people do not even know the importance of a body deodorant as they figure that by sparing body cologne, that it will protect them for the day.Some of them,you cannot stand them when they walk pass you or raise their armpit. Too bad.I could remember sometime ago when I got to the airport from the US, at the arrival hall when going through immigration, I found it hard to believe that most of them stinks. Too bad.

About the short-time bath, most guys are not concious abt washing certain parts of their bodies that's why they don't waste time in the bathroom, I don't think its because they don't own sponges
Lastly, your hypothesis testing no dey accurate because this sample size (85%) just dey ridiculous, go back to the field and share your questionnaire in order to obtain successful collection/collation of data
