The shia/sunni conflict always remind me of the game of throne movie where 7 families were fighting on who will destroy the lanisters so that they can take over the leadership of the 7 kingdoms. Here the Sunnis (the saudis) defeated the shia (Iraq and Iran) to assume leadership of the Muslim world. |

Muslims are commanded not to inflict pains on themselves to the point of committing suicide, it's forbidden in Islam. true2god:Filipino Catholics do this not Catholics , big difference. Plus it is not encouraged by the catholic church, infact its considered a heretical practise by the church..and effort has been made to discourage them from do this , I have seen documentaries on this but have not researched it. My guess is that it is culture creeping into faith. I will study more on it. Its appalling. |
