Dropping links in peoples blog, is it a good blogging practice or a bad one?....



Here is my view on it...

*Living links in and on another's persons blog is okay by me as I also do it, atleaste the person will want to in a way or the other visit your blog too.... But I prefer when its done and the person has a good comment dropped on my blog, for some just come there and write stuffs like 'cool, great, interesting' and others and just drop their links all to get traffic from my other visitors who will definately click their links, but generally I thinks its good practice.... *did I make sense in this?*

Please drop your views on this..... I need to know what you all think about it....

It depends on the other blog's policy for dropping links. If you are comenting on a thread, why not. It will favour you both; the blog you are commenting on will be lively while you would have an inbound link to your site, especially if the site is a dofollow site.

It depends on your motive. If you are doing it for link building; wrong

If you are doing it because the blog post has something interested and you want to share your own view (either good or bad), then it's good.

Now no matter your motive, dropping link is bad especially if you use keyword as your name
