The ordered relocation of Army headquarters to Maiduguri has not abated the insurgence activities in anyway. Instead, the insurgence are gaining ground and killing more people and destroying more homes. My advise therefore to Buhari is to further split the army headquarters and appoint other army chiefs to head them. He should have one army Chief each in Maiduguri, Adamawa and Yobe. Further advice will be made after trying this. Cheers

Propaganda can't sustain success at the top

The presidency should relocate to maiduguri, the Army headquarters to yobe while the defence ministry to Adamawa. This would make for effective supervision and the solution to diversion of funds meant for the military.

defeating terrorism is not that simple. In open combat, it easy, but when they start employing their gorilla warfare, like sucide bombing, it becomes hard. That's where information gathering, intelligence and technology comes in. Ask the US army how they faired in Afghanistan and Iraq, that is even with their intelligence and sophisticated technology.

The NA is doing well in terms of open confrontation and recovery of lost areas to the terrorist, but they need to improve seriously on their intelligence gathering. They should be able to stop bombing before they occur. The DSS should be more involved in this.

By the way, what information are those surrendering BH boys been providing? If there are not providing any information that leads to any tangible result, they should not be allowed to live.
