My people have a saying "if a 'teenager' farts the first time among the elders it could be forgiven, but the second time is a punishable offense".

Ambassador Joy has done it the second time, if she is replaced she shouldn't expect pity.

When will this presidency accept responsibility for their actions and stop blaming everybody for their madness. You have a chief of staff, a press secretary, a private secretary to the president, a chief of protocol, yet you are still pretending not to know the time of the Pope's speech..... WHAT A HELL. angry angry angry angry angry angry
They are all incompetent. They need to blame the person they expect is competent enough to have covered their lapses.

Have you seen the NEED for the the Minister of Foreign Affairs? Who else would coordinate the president's foreign engagements. Looking for an excuse to sack the poor Ogwu for his blunders.

The punishment may not do any good if not properly investigated to know how and why the Info all went wrong from schedule to entrance at this critical time of high insurgency and corruption.

Nigerian time and International business....data mismatch.
Re: Nigeria’s UN Mission Embarrasses President Buhari - Sahara Reporters by menxer: 5:47pm On Sep 28, 2015
Why are you playing the tribal card? Incompetence does not have tribe.

I believe Ambassador Joy Ogwu was eminently qualified before she was assigned that responsibility, if for whatever reason she chooses to embarrass herself, PMB and Nigeria, she should have a watertight explanation to give.

Bubewilson:
In as much as I am displeased with the embarrassment the President has suffered in the hands of my Igbo sister. I propose that this matters should be seriously investigated: was she at anytime denied access to the president? did the President' have other personal and political schedules like having a meeting with OBJ and others which she didn't know and thus which obstructed her schedule for the president etc. And if Ogwu intentionally mismanaged the President's schedule she should resign. Such incompetent acts shouldn't be tolerated at such high level meetings.

However, I know that if it were to be a Hausa person that was in charge of the President's schedule such embarrassing situations wouldn't have happened because it seems Mr President is only competent in relating and doing things properly with people from his ethnic group. And this is really not proper in a society like ours.

SO AMBASSADOR OGWU WAS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THE 97% AND 5% SPEECH. SHE WAS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR WEST GERMANY AND PRESIDENT MERKEL. SHE WAS EQUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR OLD WINE. THEN SHE ALSO CONSPIRED WITH SARAKI TO DRUG THE PRESIDENT ANS SEIZE THE HOUSE. SHE IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING IN THE NEWYORK TIMES A RIDICULOUS ARTICLE, WHICH COULD BE CONSIDERED AN INSULT TO OBAMA. MRS OGWU KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, FOR YOU ARE NOW THE PRESIDENT, SSA TO THE PRESIDENT, FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER, THE SPEECH WRITER FOR THE PRESIDENT AND THE CHIEF ADVISER TO BUHARI.

Do you remember the Immigration job scam? GEJ should've fired that Abba Moro but he refused, therefore he took the blame. He chose not to punish people and his government collapsed because of that. Even the petrol and subsidy cabals, NNPC and PHCN cabals were not punished for their sabotage, how can anyone take that government serious? If Buhari refuses to punish the people responsible for this mess, more people will mess up too and expect to get away with it, that's how lapses and problems start.

Blame? Am not saying that. There should be a level playing ground for all parties. APC played this game pre-election and you don't want PDP to do same too? So SR comes up with an article on how the president was not well briefed by Joy Ogwu but during Jonathan's time the headline would have been "Clueless Jonathan" shocked
The funny thing is that Buhari himself does not need to be at that meeting. All they asked for was a top representative from Nigeria. Oh i forgot angry Buhari is still running a one man show. cool cheesy

PS: Jonathan was actually clueless in somethings.

Some bastard will continue blaming the poor woman... Is it she that drug the President who waking up late, and for not listening to the briefing before wrongfully passing through the wrong gate as well... All this fool should think well before blaming Joy. The man is a slow man, no memory to assimilate all they told him, and he's thinking of his Boo at the farm or he's probably been purnish by God for closing the Church Chapel in Aso Rock....I think.

Is the President resident in Nigeria supposed to know the schematic of the UN building?

What is the role of the supposed permanent representative to the UN who is stationed there and should be privy to the scheduled activities and their importance or otherwise to Nigeria? Or why exactly is the government keeping a dummy in the UN with tax payers funds.

The height of stupidity is when factual information on roles and responsibility is made available to you, but you insist without any fact, that your suppositions on who is to blame must remain as you had decided when you still wallowed in ignorance.
still the lame blame game. One thing with this govt and it blind follower is their inability to accept responsility for their foolishness.
Re: Nigeria’s UN Mission Embarrasses President Buhari - Sahara Reporters by Nobody: 6:04pm On Sep 28, 2015
The write up itself has a tribal undertone and when we have a president that have surrounded himself with those he deemed competent from his own circle. Incompetency has tribe interpreting from his body language. Which unfortunately is a wrong message he has passed down to Nigerians.

Without loosing sight of my initial comment, Sahara Reporters is not the first to air this. Premium Times & The Cable did over the weekend. So why the political and tribal undertone been adduced to the story?

That was my problem with GEJ exactly. His inability to fire some people around him pulled him down. And if Buhari refuses to fire people too when they do something wrong then he won't be a happy man come next election.
Re: Nigeria’s UN Mission Embarrasses President Buhari - Sahara Reporters by wytecat: 6:08pm On Sep 28, 2015
Joy Ogwu obviously wanted to sabotage Buhari's govt, and this will continue to happen if Ibos are put in important positions.

How many times are we going to tell this administration to yank Ibos off positions that are very important to this administration? This people are up to no good, and will do things to mar the govt's image. They should just be made ministers of state of some obscure ministries, if Buhari really wants to succeed.

She should be sacked immediately since she doesn't know how to carry out her duty.
