hello house. I was in the thread where users complain about their tecno Android not picking calls. the error response being; com.android.phone has stopped working. I use tecno h7 myself and the same problem happened to me yesterday and I complained too. I was told to switch off battery control but after a while it automatically switches on again. thereby preventing me from picking calls with the same error message. well here's good news. I was awake till 5am this morning and I found a permanent solution.

as follows
1. root your Android with kingsroot or any safe method of your choice. if your phone is rooted already ignore this step.
2. download Es file explorer and enable the root function in the menu.
3.open up menu> tools >device > app >system
4. when you open system you will see many system files and apps that can never be deleted without root access
but since we have root access and it is also enabled in the Es explorer app no problem
5. search for battery control and back up tool mark both of them and delete

you're good to go that's all.

if you have any problems with rooting. you can immediately unroot your phone with kinguser

any difficulty should be indicated I'll be glad to help

if your phone is rooted. launch Es explorer then follow the screenshots below
If you tap options
you'll see the first pic start from there downwards
then when you reach the last pic mark battery control and back up tool (if it's there) and delete them.

also remember to enable root explorer in the Es app too

Thanks a lot. I use gionee M2. didn't see battery control app. just battery warning app and the odex.file. I deleted both and I'm hoping it solves the problem.

it should solve it. there are different apps that introduce the annoying bug into Android phones. try and use another phone to dial your gionee to test it. if it isn't still working. go and use the same method to delete backup tool. cheers.
