Petition To The Senate On Ministerial Screening of Amaechi.!! by CharlesPhc(op):

The Nigerian Senate.
Three Arm Zone
FCT - Abuja

Attn Senators: Rivers East Senatorial District,
Rivers West Senatorial District,
Rivers South-East Senatorial District,

Distinguished Senators Sirs,
PETITION/APPEAL TO DISQUALIFY & RESTRAIN FORMER GOVERNOR ROTIMI AMAECHI FROM BEING SCREENED BY THE SENATE.

I humbly and respectfully present this petition and at the same time make a passionate appeal as a bonafide son of Rivers State specifically from Omoku Town in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State. I am not a politician, neither am I a registered member or sympathizer of any political party or interest group in Rivers State but a concerned Rivers Son who believes that based on common sense and morality, the person of the former Governor of Rivers State; Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi should be disqualified, restrained and prevented from the much expected Senate screening if eventually his name (as being speculated) makes the President’s list of Ministerial nominees to be screened by the Upper Legislative Chambers anytime soon.
Sirs, as representatives of the people of Rivers State in the Hallowed Chambers of the Senate, we count on your God’s given wisdom to ensure the right thing is always done at whatever level or circumstance irrespective of who is involved. Recall Sirs, how we were all witnesses to the fact that before the former governor left the helm of affairs of the State, every facet of work Force, contractors and students studying abroad to mention but a few were owed huge salary arrears. Government indebtedness was the order of the day, failed monorail project, closure of the Courts, highhandedness and flagrant disobedience of the Judicial Commission of Enquiry etc were the ‘parting kiss’ the former governor gave the people of the state who voted him and supported his administration for more than 7 years.
Sirs, while I personally believe the former governor has the right to belong to any political party of his choice, I don’t believe he still holds the moral justification to sit in the Federal Executive Council (FEC) as a representative of the State according to the Federal Character Clause as enshrined in our constitution.
We the good and peace-loving people of Rivers State would therefore be counting on you to do the needful and allow justice to prevail over injustice in your own little way by ensuring he is disqualified speedily and asap.

Please accept the assurances of my highest regard…!!!

As in seriously, but Saraki can continue to occupy the seat of a Senate President. My dearnin Nigeria constitution you are innocent until found quity. We still have a long way to go. In a sane society, whenever a man is being alleged, the normal thing is to resign if already occupying a public office or to step aside if he has an intension. But I know we shall get there

I sure know Amaechi is a thief; after all, he ruled in PDP for over 14 years. But the big question is, with all the accusations here and there by disgruntled Jonathanians, why can't they get their acts together, conduct proper investigations with due diligence and present a tangible case of graft against Amaechi?...

There is a case against Saraki today because his political opponents were able to diligently prepare a substantial case against him. Wike's probe panel has been sitting for over 3 months yet they still cannot prepare a proper case against Amaechi. It is not enough to just sit behind a computer and shout "Amaechi na thief!" ...Why are you Jonathanians too intellectually deficient to substantiate it?

Your letter is dead here on nairaland. The senators you are referring your letter to;

Tell me one thing they have done in there senatorial district.

Your appeal is null, void and worthless.

Politics aside, Amaechi is a performer and a courageous leader.

I bet you that should Amaechi's name appear in that list, no senator will question his credibility.

Let us learn to think very far before we spew rubbish.

As it stands, your senators are all shaking for fear of the Sariki's treatment.

You really do not understand politics in Nigeria else you won't be spewing this rubbish.

These fools have no choice. They came up with lies and Propaganda thinking Buhari will fall for it and Diss Amaechi, it failed.
They prepared a documentary in connivance with AIT against Amaechi, buhari still took Amaechi to see Obama.
They called a corrupt judge, omereji to indict Amaechi, buhari still went ahead to introduce Amaechi to members of his household that includes his grandchildren after which he took him to UN. The message Buhari is passing to them is......GO FFUCK URSEF.....
It's fast dawning on them that Buhari doesn't have their time and Buhari will do what Buhari wants to do and not what wike and his thugs wants him to do.
Now Amaechi is in court asking the court to tell Wike thugs to bring their facts against him and they are currently struggling because they know that their basis all along Av been lies built on lies.
The General of common sense revolution surely knows his onions. The brilliance he used to boot out the Otuoke fool ( the biggest challenge in his political life) is still there and is more than enough to finish up wike and his thugs.[/b]

What does our constitution says in appointing ministers? Is it for the president to apponit who will represent the state as a minister or is the state that's responsible to send who will represent them as a minister. We've agree that democracy has come to stay so let the tenet of democracy be expressed in every action taken by the government of the day.
