Alison-Madueke: UK Authorities Started Corruption Probe In 2013 by MichaelSokoto(op): 7:45pm On Oct 03, 2015
The UK National Crime Agency (NCA) has
disclosed that their agents began a
corruption probe of Nigeria’s former
Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-
Madueke, in 2013. The ongoing
investigation led to the arrest two days
ago of Mrs. Alison-Madueke, who has
shuttled between the UK and a few
European countries since her cabinet
post came to an end with the electoral
defeat of former President Goodluck
Jonathan.
The former minister
was released on bail after several hours of
questioning, but UK authorities have confiscated her
international passport to ensure she does not flee
the country.
In a recent update on their website, the UK
National Crime Agency revealed that they
began investigating Mrs. Alison-Madueke under
the auspices of the Proceeds of Crime Unit
(POCU) of the London Metropolitan police.
The agency added that all four persons arrested
across London with Mrs. Alison-Madueke were
granted conditional police bail pending the
outcome of ongoing investigations in the UK and
abroad.
The update on the NCA website did not name
the accused persons, but a source within the
Nigerian Presidency told SaharaReporters that
they believe some of the other suspects are
Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s relatives who may have
rendered one assistance or another to her in
the laundering of significant amounts through
UK banks and other financial institutions.

This is what I wrote in another thread yesterday

A lot of these people rejoicing because she has been granted bail do not understand the British judicial system

Before you are arrested in the UK and most organised societies, especially for a crime like Diezani is being accused of, they must have done their homework for months and maybe years. They have the evidence and they are ready to either prosecute her or send her back to Nigeria. I can bet you that she would have almost thrown up with the amount of information they have about her personal life.

The UK is not a zoo or a lawless country. They cannot detain her indefinitely. This is just the beginning. They have confiscated her passport which means she cannot travel out of the UK. Dont be surprised that she might seek political asylum which will be turned down very quickly.

Diezani is in a lot of trouble. This is a multi national investigation and it was well planned. None of us had a clue , not even the over zealous Nigerian media. The best she can do now is to start singing like a parrot and name all her co- thieves
Diezani will go to prison. 100% certain.

She is just lucky that she might spend her prison years in a comfortable female prison in the UK.

That means they must have stored up enough evidence that could equally put away a certain former leader from Otueke.

This does it for me, JONA is a THIEF..

There is no way Jona can claim innocence, if he can, then he was more clueless than we thought.....

Thank God for darling Bubu.... cool

Am beginning to wonder why they didn't arrest GEJ. He is in London now and considering the fact that the woman worked under GEJ.

I know Dezani will quickly plead guilty when she is confronted with massive evidence the British authorities must have carefully gathered against her over the last 3 years
