Someone told me about this car. It's a Honda Pilot 2010; 31,000 mileage. The seller claims to be in some sort of financial troubles and so seeks to sell it out.

I'm not that informed when it comes to cars. Any relevant advice or comment on this issue will be welcomed, as such may form the basis for my action or otherwise.

I also doubt the veracity of the mileage.

Thanks for your expert advice and information.

Ask questions and insist on seeing the owner, also confirm with the registration number. Drive the ride around to see if there is any major fault, don't forget that it is one of the most expensive SUVS to maintain.... fuel guzzler

Point of Correction Pls. This isn't 2010 Honda Pilot, this is 04/05 Model Honda Pilot. Don't be deceived by the exterior or interior neatness. something might be wrong with the engine, go with your mechanic that you trust to check the actual condition of the SUV. i dont think the money is to much for a used 04/05 Honda pilot. i bought my 04 honda pilot 1.8m and sold it 1.4m after 2yrs i used it. but you can confirm or make your research if you are not buying a stolen SUV from a owner that called 04/05 model for you 2010...

Thought people use the services of auto mechanics for stuffs like this. You may wanna consider using them to test the car and see if it's good and when I mean, test, not just driving it about but also checking several other things..

Don't give unsolicited opinions on topics you are completely ignorant of. This is not about okada.

Like others have stated, this shape of Honda Pilot runs from 2003-2005.
If you wish, I may be passing through the area on Aba road later today. I can ask the actual price and confirm the year if it is on display.

NEVER give opinions on subjects you know nothing about.

dearpreye, I drive an '04 Honda Pilot pre-ordered here on nairaland and I have NO REGRETS.

I was in love with the MDX but found out it uses premium fuel which is not sold here in Nigeria so I opted for the Pilot which runs on regular, is roomier and is from Acura's parent company Honda, and they both share the same platform with the Odessey.
Actually, the MDX was preferred because I heard same stories about the Pilot being heavy and a fuel guzzler but went ahead to buy it and I am YET to see how it guzzles fuel or how slow it is on the highway. I almost ALWAYS drive with AC on but the fuel consumption is just what an SUV should consume and nothing more.
Unless that particular vehicle you are interested in has a problem, trust me, you can NEVER go wrong with the Pilot.
Thanks.

I have used this machine for over 6 years now.I am yet to see anoda machine that can perform better. It served me beyond my thinking.

If it is Naija used,it should not be more than N1m.

Firstly, that is not a 2010 Pilot. It is at best a 2005.

Secondly, The mileage can not be 31, 000. For an atleast 10yrs old car?The mileage may have been tampered with

Thirdly, since it is a Nigerian used it should go for below that price.

Fourthly, it may b authentic sale. Jst try verify the true ownership status of the SUV.

That's very good testimony. I've heard mostly negative news about the vehicle.

this is a 2003 to 2005 Honda pilot. that price is even too much for the ride being a registered ride. it should be between 750k to 900k. direct tokumbo of that ride is 1.4 to 1.5 depending on how neat it is. check the auto section.
the picture below is of a 2010 Honda pilot.
