The official unveiling of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list today by Senate President Bukola Saraki is the last cue for vocal Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti to finally give up hope on the new administration.

From Europe where he is honouring international engagements, Seun Kuti waved off the list as uninspiring.

He wrote on his Facebook, “The ministerial list is a terrible line up. Like the super eagles when the coach refuse to look at all the options open to him and picks the same old used up legs. I am not saying pick me but this is where the ‘change’ myth is lost. I for one believed this administration was going to pick young hungry unknown technocrats to change this country. The true face of Nigeria is between 18 and 35 as we represent 65% of the society not these old thieves. Fashola is there again ? Audu ogbeh. Well 2019 will surely usher in a new government. FACT!! These ones don fail!!

I didn't read anywhere before today, where he hoped on the administration. So why should i care if he lost the hope.

we as youths have been massively underrated in this country, our institutions for expressing our views have been compromised by greedy individuals...why didn't the NANS body for example, issue a warning to this government to seriously consider youths for ministerial positions or face backlash? they were busy endorsing Kashamu, what a shame.

we still have a chance, there should be a movement, online, print and radio. We need youthful ministers in the upcoming list...we can force government to take the right steps.

Old folks are filled up with old ideas.keep them off leadership.they ruled the country at a very young age and are back for season 2 again.Other countries think high above poles.People are exploring new planets, going for space exploration, energy,cybernetics etc, Nigeria's are still climbing palm wine and falling on their backs and can't get up,and thats they die.
