Spokesman of Afenifere, Mr Yinka Odumakin, on Tuesday, described some of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees as poster boys of corruption.

Odumakin, who was reacting to the long-awaited ministerial list finally announced earlier on Tuesday, by the Senate President Bukola Saraki during Senate plenary said: “Nearly everybody on that list has been involved one way of the other, at one level or the other since 1999. Quite a few of them have serious allegations against them.

“In fact, some of them are poster boys of corruption. We hope that those who would do the screening will do a thorough screening. If we are fighting corruption on one hand, then those who have been portrayed to be corrupt should not be promoted to higher responsibility.

“There are some who have governed at the state level and have been alleged to be corrupt. So, to jump that and move to become ministerial leaders, rubbishes the whole concept of our fight against corruption,” he averred.

Odumakin needs to get an appointment from this administration, if not even after Buhari's tenure, he will continue to criticise PMB, I understand his pain and fustration for a man who was Buhari's spokesman in 2011 to just be left out like that, most of his colleagues who stood with Buhari since then have already gotten one position or the other

I think its high time PMB grants Odumakin audience, he was part of the struggle though he derailed cos of Jona dollars but then if guys like Ita Enang and Udoma can be given a chance in this govt despite where they belong to few months ago, then PMB should invite Odumakin for a chat, he derves it even though he's been talking gibberish lately.

They are Nigerians with the right to question their government.
