Australia was a land inhabited by Aborigines....the case is similar to that of America's

Yes, America may have ''belonged'' initially to the American Indians, but the majority of americans today are descendants of immigrants who came together to form a nation.
America began with 13 colonies, but some states decided to join the union out of sheer benefit. It was not forced.
Infact they are some independent ''countries'' that wants to be part of the US today which congress has not agreed to.
Scotland recently had a referendum where the majority wants to remain british. That is what it means to be organic.
Ireland, Scotland wants to be part of the UK.
Nigeria on the other hand has different groups fighting to break out. How do you then develop?

There is no common heritage among the various Nigerian tribes.
We are all different with different aspirations, goals and method of attainment.
We will always keep pulling in different directions.
