Morn mamas in d house, nid clarification pls. For those who gv dia kids food to creche @ what months or age did u start putting food for ur kids to be fed in creche.
Call me paranoid(yea I'll gladly acept cos d fear of choking is real) bt I jst can't put food lik say rice yam etc for dem to feed her @ creche, I'll rather feed her myslf @ home wen I gt bk frm work. So for now we just take cereals, ogi, egg etc to creche.

On a more serious note, if test is done & no malaria or infection is found, would you advise anti malaria & antibiotic,, of course she should ruuuuunnnnnn away to another hospital with competent paed.

it is likely flu or major teething induced fever.....

I am no doctor, but i have senior pediatric consultants on speed dial...

The nannies at my son's creche re good. I kinda trust dem wt feeding my lo. He didn't actually start adult food on tym. BT wen I was sure he was accepting it at home, I starting packing for him for schl. I cook his food to b soft. softer than ours. I started packing it for him wen he was abt 1yr 6months

I'd say cutting of hair is up to the parents. some factors come into play though- religion, family preferences, culture, if the pikin's hair is growing well etc etc

There's no hard and fast rule.

For baby girls i feel giving a low shave/hair cut will help the hair grow out evenly and fully... not all that 2 strands and no hair at the back meme....

So my baby is 6 months and I wanna start solids but baby has refused spoon in the mouth. Once I put spoon, see cry and crankiness. But would eat if it's a bottle. How can I get my baby to start liking spoon or hand? Pls help thanks.

Like other mamas said, it isn't compulsory to cut the hair. I actually had the same issue but when my father in law kept asking, I just trimmed it down a bit cos DS is hairy so no more stories... lol. And pls werin be dis one "I neva kpekus" after 10 weeks? Abeg pity oga nah, but pls use protection o to avoid stories that touch... lol

Nurse Kaffy4bill & other experienced mamas, pls when can start brushing LO's gums with cotton wool, also do I need to use something else apart from cotton wool? She is only a week plus 2days.
