Infact,the police would advice him against that - for security reasons.

You have to understand the background of this case in question: Chief Falae said that he has been having issues with herdsmen for sometime,and it probably culminated to his kidnap. Mind you that all those while the police were unable to settle the scuffles. So now you expect Falae to risk his safety yet again by coming publicly to declare if the people arrested by the police are his kidnappers? Brother,knowing how this country works,Falae would probably tell the police to handle the situation by themselves without involving him directly.
