ok how did igbos benefit from the coalition? Awolowo's western region was still far ahead of them in development.
Let's see if yoruba will benefit anything from this

I don't know how coalition with the north has brought ur people progress

Mumu, I'm yoruba
Am not sure you are Yoruba cos you kept saying 'your people' and making statement that excludes you are Yoruba.
There is sth called Intellectual opposition that awolowo faced from the likes of Adegoke Adelabu penkelemesi plus the vision of Awolowo himself plus he also has the incentive of wanting to be president as at that time.
All these directly or indirectly contributed to Awo success.
If he had if easy regionally, he might relax and not perform, zik can be seen as a nationalist but I dont think his achievement is anything when compared to that if awo.

Abokkee Slaves Everywhere

We need to be wary of These Saboteurs. I'm glad Shymmex always attends to them.

Awon Eru Gambari, Saboteurs United.

Am not Yoruba because I don't share ur puny coalition idea? Where did I say "your people" excluding myself as a Yoruba?

Exactly the point, nobody in Awo's day was that successful, even as an ethinocentric individual unlike Azikiwe that the igbos don't even honour. .. his enemies in Yorubaland prevented him from becoming President. . Yoruba betraying themselves in alliance with the north has always come back to hurt us. . Learn from history
