I just received this mail prior to a contest i participated in .Please I want to know if this looks like a scam.
CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR SUBMISSION HAD BEEN OFFICIALLY APPROVED! IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOU! (Read carefully) Good day Participant,

We are glad to inform you and more also to congratulate you for your submitted idea on "HOW YOU CAN FIGHT POVERTY WITH YOUR

PROFESSION" and the support needed was found pleased enough for approval in the screening exercise carried out on five thousand four

hundred and ninety two (5492) entries submitted by different ambitious young Nigerians who strongly aspire and desire an ultimate

goal for their professions. 
This implies that you have been officially approved to participate in the 2015 edition of The Nigerian Innovation Contest which is

designed to appreciate, compensate and reward young aspiring and determined Nigerians in the forthcoming Nigerian Innovation Program 
2015 scheduled to hold on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th of November 2015 at the Abuja International Conference Center, Herbert

Macaulay Way, Garki Abuja.

We have some important information to pass across to you as an approved and shortlisted participant in the contest, we dearly endure 
you to pay close attention to the information.

Firstly, in respect to the official announcement made to the general public during the "Unveiling of the Event" and "Call for

submission of entries" that a second party submission is not allowed i.e. writing/submitting on another persons behalf is totally

prohibited and abiding with the rules and regulations guiding the contest and the event in whole to avoid unforeseen/future problems,

and to control the number of the shortlisted approved participants whose write-ups were approved by the judges who are from leading

organizations, all approved/shortlisted participants are to make an official registration to ensure that the participant who is

believed to be the official bearer of the shortlisted name for the approved write-up and the rightful owner of the written/attached

material, giving us a copy-right to make reference to the write-up or use as a material in our yet to be published Nigerian

Innovation Handbook which shall be launched to benefit mankind on Thursday 12th of November 2015 during the summit. 
Registration for all approved and shortlisted participants commences immediately 8.00am today Monday 12th of October 2015 and shall

end by 4.00pm on Friday 16th of October 2015.

HOW TO REGISTER 
All Regular Participants(non-government officials) are to register with just 10,500 Naira only while , All approved/shortlisted 
participants who are government officials(civil servants at any government level) are to register with 12,500 Naira.

You shall be contacted back via your email with your registration number and others immediately your payment is confirmed valid by

the bank. We also endure you to keep your teller and your registration number with you for future purposes.

NOTE: Only the registered approved participants shall be on the official voting poll using a standard online mobile phone sms voting

system to determine the winner. The official SMS Voting Line is 32120 and to vote your and your friends/families will have to text

"Gol" space "Your 3-digits registration number" space "Vote" and send to 32120, a confirmation message shall be sent back to you

immediately by your network provider i.e. Thanks for voting. You can test the voting line by texting "Gol" space "Vote" and send to

We dearly endure all registered approved participants to scout for vote from the public i.e. telling your friends, relatives and

The emergence of the Winners shall strictly be based on the number of votes acquired. Registered approved participant with the

highest number of votes in a category shall be emerged the winner of the category in the Nigerian Innovation Contest 2015 and all

winners shall also be recognize as a Nigerian Innovation Ambassador for a period of 12 months and shall be compensated with a monthly

royalty(amount to be disclosed during the summit and launching of the handbook).

1. All registered participants shall enjoy 2(two) all expenses paid trip(one for the participant and the other for a relative or

friend to the participant) to the Nigerian Innovation Summit 2015 scheduled to hold on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th of November

2015 at the Abuja International Conference Center, Herbert Macauly Way, Garki Abuja. 
All expenses paid trip which include 
* Transportation charges to and fro from the nearest airport to the participants submitted location down to Abuja International

Airport and to the event venue shall be paid and cared for by N.I.F. Please note that any change of information should be done now. 
* All registered approved participants shall enjoy free 48 hours conducive accommodation and satisfactory feeding at Nicon Luxury,

plot 908 Tafawa Balewa Way Area 11, Garki Abuja. 
2. Each registered approved participants shall be presented one N.I.F.(Nigerian Innovation Fund) mini laptop computer system at the 
summit for participating in the Nigerian Innovation Contest 2015.

A winner(participant with the highest votes) shall be emerged from each category and 2(two) runner-ups (the next two participants

with the highest votes)

Rewards for RUNNER-UPS: 
*A sustainable cash prize. 
* and all participants rewards.

Rewards for WINNERS: 
8(Eight) Winners and 16(Sixteen) runner-ups are expected to be chosen at the end of the contest, 1(one) winner and 2(two) runner-ups

per category. 
* Winners shall be given 100% career sponsorship and support in their various professions. 
* Scholarship 
* Employment opportunity. 
* N1,000,000(one million naira).
* and all participants rewards. 
Participants are expected to scout for votes from the general public to be emerged the winner.

Registration officially begins by 8.00am today MONDAY 12th of October 2015 and closes by 4.00pm on FRIDAY 16th of October 2015). 
Participants who are paying for their registration via bank must not make mistake paying into a wrong account to ensure transparency

and accountability (regular participant must not pay into the account fixed for only the government officials and vice-versa) for the 
organization shall not attend to any issue on payment mistake or refund.
