Although, ASUS android devices are not so common in Nigeria, believe me, Asus android is one of the best android devices suitable for Nigerians.

Talking of the price, features and configuration of Asus android devices, no doubt; there is no match for Asus android among there peers both in price and sizes.

Nevertheless, one of the reasons why I feel most Nigerians don't use Asus android devices are;

1- Scarce phone accessories and repair parts.
2- Customer support centres unavailability.

You're right. So far, I think ASUS is the best android to choose talking of the updates and firmware availability. HTC is the next.

I am using the ZE551ML 2GB version. I purchased it directly from the ASUS store. For $199, this is an awesome device! I used it in Naija on GLO/MTN when I was there the last few weeks. However, I primarily use it on AT&T in the US. It gets updates regularly. About as regular as stock android devices that I have used.
