Few days after the release of the kidnapped chief olu falae, he openly stated on TV that some fulani herdsmen were responsible for his kidnap. He alongside some old yoruba folks openly accused the fulani herdsmen of kidnapping him, he also stated that, he had been having several issues with them. Chief olu falae and his team of yoruba old folks demanded that the government should BANISH the fulani herdsmen from the southwest. I believe that was a wrong, absurd, clueless and brainless way of addressing crime in a state. Its so unbelievable that a former presidential aspirant could raise such a reckless and selfish opinion. Weeks later, the kidnappers were apprehended and arrested, it was so shocking to realised the old man was kidnapped by some young men on the street who were desperately in need of money to celebrate sallah. Honestly am a native of Warri Delta state, am not a fulani man. But the truth is, Is it not proper that, chief falae give an apology to the fulani herdsmen and fulani people in general.

What the source of this news?

I'm not a fan of Falae, but there's no reason for him to apologize. If anything, the kiddnappers should apologize once they confess to the crime.

I doubt if this is coming from fulani or herds men.What will he apologize for? He said they are responsible for his abduction and they confess Then they should be begging for mercy.

But one of the culprit paraded claimed to be a herdsman!

There are no individual known as Fulani, so why would anyone pray for an encounter with Fulani when there are millions of Fulani all over West Africa?
In sane climate, Falae should be charged for making false claims and wasting police time. Like most tribal hate filled Nigerians, he knew exactly what he was doing, where ordinary people from different tribal groups will start hating and killing each other for nothing because a big man started an unsubstantiated allegations.

If one was a herdman, what's the profession the others, bricklayers, cocoa farmers?
When does a person profession incriminate all of those of his trade?
Or when does a Yoruba/Igbo carpenter's crime makes all Yoruba/Igbo carpenters criminals?

so in essence we shouldn't confront the herdsmen cos not all of them are killers. I hope you won't complain when another community is sacked in Imo state or when another traditional ruler is killed in Enugu.

so some people believe those two criminals displayed by the police where the only kidnappers of falae, that's if they are the ones, u can easily trust the devil and all the demons in hell than the Nigeria police.

I will complain when you confronted all Imo traders because one of the got involved in armed robbery crime and a traditional ruler was killed in Enugu.

i tire 4 dem ooh. bcoz of 1 fulani herdsmen among d kidnappers falae and his old pple said "all fulani herdsmen should be banned from southwest. an opinion dat does not deserve an audience even in dis 21st century. d major problem of dis country is dat, pple judge issues with tribal sentiment.
