Two students of the Queen of Rosary College (QRC) Onitsha have emerged winners of the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) Project Exhibition held recently.

In a release from the office of the State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, the students, Miss Odife Chinecherem and Aidelokhai Winifred won the exhibition with their locally manufactured food drier device which could be used to dry all kinds of food items.

The two students who were supervised by a team of QRC Parents Teachers Association Science Teachers are to represent Nigeria at an International Science Project Exhibition scheduled for Mexico in November this year.
In another development, Anambra State Junior Debate Team is to represent Nigeria at the Junior World Schools Debate coming up in Croatia in December this year.

According to the release from the office of the State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, the representation is sequel to the brilliant performance of the team at the 2014 Independence Inter- States Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Schools' Debate where it came first in the entire federation.

Meanwhile, the Anambra State Senior Debate Team has returned from Singapore where they performed creditably in representing Nigeria at the recent World Schools' Debate held in Singapore. The release further stated that the victorious Anambra Senior Debate Team would be presented with a certificate of recognition by the First Lady of Nigeria Mrs Aisha Buhari on 19th October 2015.

Anambra Again!! There is something about these guys and Ndigbo in general; whatever they set out to do they give it their all to emerge the best. No wonder some people are feeling threatened even in their own land. Wish the Nation can harvest these guys talents and channel it towards the development of the country. Kudos guys, you have done it again

This is a commendable feat from my brothers, they have this winning mentality in them and they do anything to win. Even with the backdrop of events they have passed through, they still find ways of forging ahead and make memorable achievements.

Like I said in the former thread, I met a lady in the competition and she was just raining praises on these anambra kids because of their winning mentality and never say die spirit.

It is important we keep it up and everything in our hands to remain on top. Soon our teachers will be exported to foreign lands as finished products.

Without igbo sovereignty and the chance to forge our own destiny, it is all for nothing.
Yes, we can jubilate but that is where it ends.
Many of these guys would sooner rather than later grow up and travel to the US to add to their skilled population.
Anambra and the rest of igboland will continue to suffer from chronic brain drain.
While countries like singapore, china, korea, and even southafrica are busy attracting their best indigenous brains from many parts of the world to develop their homeland industrial and technological capacity , igboland would keep losing them, because of an unfortunate tether to an unproductive and wicked union.
Which is why i get very annoyed at zombie-like proponents of one-Nigeria in igboland, because they just can't justify it intelligebly.

This is very sad but true. But there is hope, the kind of society and economy Akpokuedike is building will encourage these kids to stay.

They just don't know how much potential Nigeria is currently wasting. The SE is bigger than many European countries.
Isreal is so small almost insignificant, yet with over 150 nobel prize winners and a staggering technological capacity that has very few rivals.
Nigeria-A big unproductive union that has become cancerous.

You won't find the likes of QuotaSystem here.
It is how many half-wit career politicians the north is able to produce that concerns him.
