Chapter 4 of the 1999 Constitution as amended deals with the fundamental Rights of Citizens, and of which Freedom of Association is a key Right, flowing from this, Integrity Group does not need any form of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission to raise issues that bothers on transparency or corruption as the case may be, rather the group must be commended for joining with Government to tame the hydra-headed monster called corruption.There are legal precedence why Integrity Group does need any form registration. Op should do a proper research before entering the public domain. However, i see Mr Rotimi Amaechi being screened and cleared because there is no court in the land that has the power to to stop the senate from carrying out a statutory function enshrined in the Constitution.

Sure we are talking about corruption. They should prove there case in the court.

It is only the court that can indict Amaechi.

As it stands, Amaechi remains innocent until proven guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Why have wike refused to petition Amaechi before the EFCC rather he is tuning to the senate.

We all know that its a mere witch hunting as he cannot prove his case before the efcc.

Akpabio is today been interrogated by the EFCC based on petitions against him.

EFCC cannot invite or arrest Amaechi without a petition against him.

APC would always want to remain relevant in Rivers state and with Amaechi as a minister, this gives light to the party.

Fellow Nairalanders, I just received info from a reliable source who craved not to be mentioned that the senate committee investigating petitions by Mr Livingstone Wuchie of the Integrity Group against the former Governor of Rivers state Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi have recommended the arrest and prosecution of Mr Livingstone Wuchie for fraudulently been used to file false petition against Rotimi Amaechi.

At the resumed hearing on Monday 12th October 201, the senate community was furnished with a document from the Corporate Affairs commission which claimed that Integrity Group were never at anytime registered with the commission.

The Law in Nigeria says that any group or organization petitioning an individual must be dully registered with the corporate Affairs commission under the companies and Allied matters decree 1990 of the Federal republic of Nigeria.

It was also recalled by the senate committee that the matter is in court of which Mr Livingstone Wuchie have purportedly refused to appear in court together with a deformation suit by one of the accused against Mr Livingstone Wuchie.

Based on the foregone, the senate committee have recommended in its report to be read on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday 20th October 2015, for the arrest and prosecution of my Livingstone Wuchie and all his accomplices for fraudulently petitioning Rotimi Amaechi before the senate.

It was believed further that the said Livingstone Wuchie of the fake integrity group was sponsored by the leadership of the peoples Democratic party in Rivers state.
