The rumour mill went into overdrive recently when a Kaduna-based newspaper The Polity Weekly published a report headlined 'Governor Nasir El-Rufai is set to wed President Buhari’s daughter'. 55-year-old Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is the executive governor of Kaduna State married to 3 women: Hadiza, Asia and Ummi with Hadiza being the First Lady. Since the newspaper published this report, El-Rufai as of the time of this report is yet to address the speculation.





20-year-old Zahra Buhari may have however tried to set the record straight in a subtle way when she retweeted a tweet copied to her Twitter handle. The tweeter on Saturday, 10th October simply wrote: "Don’t believe everything you hear. There are always three sides 2 a story:urs, theirs n 2 truth." Whether Zahra Buhari is through this retweet insisting a wedding isn't on her agenda for the time being, time will tell! And in a recent interview when asked if she is getting married, she simply said, "Eventually! Maybe I have a potential."
