No they are not. This does not mean I am enslaved by them.
But you (on the other hand, with your daily Arabic recitation accompanied by Almajiri lack-of-rationality) are under serious Gambari slavery.

Ogbuefi, remove your head from the clouds, biko nu. Do your research before you comment. Is that too hard for you? shocked huh
Bros what research ar u talking about, nd y are you shying away from the question. When you say that igbos are attacking you guys you shld have an evidence. I hv done my research nd I hv not seen in any situation where igbos left their business nd whent on rampage to attack the yerubas. Is unfortunate that yeruba nation has left the people who attack them, rep their sisters nd even distroy their farm nd now turn around to accuse igbo people of attacking them. When it comes to respecting your host community I still don't get it bcs these business men pay their tax, pay their rent, if oba comes out to say no business today due to one festival or the other they comply, so I dn't get it. I personally condem what happened in Akure. The so called Eze-ndi igbo shld hv respected the Deji as the king of the land but on the other hand they shld hv inform him bfor he get into the Deji's chember. The Eze may not know that such action is forbiden in the kingdom.

Why have the Igbo's refused to forgive the Yoruba's for the roles SOME of them played in the civil war, and why would the Yoruba's chose to attack Igbo's living in their lands because of the political choices made by SOME Igbo's or because of the comments of a microscopic few Igbo's on social media?
. The Yorubas do not need the forgiveness of the Igbo for not siding them during the civil war. The Igbo can go to hell for all I care. I see any Igbo out there as a brother but am more resolute than ever not to live in peace now with any Igbo home n abroad. The Igbo have the right to war but their father dead or alive does not have the right to drag the Yorubas to war with them and in as much as the Igbo wanted to be tolerated with their choices the Igbo tribe should respect the choice of the Yoruba not to enter the war. On that note no demented Igbo should seek any apology concerning a war that the Yoruba decision proved supreme. Is it not senseless Igbo want Yoruba to apologise for siding with the winning team ? How does anyone do that ?

Uniben4sure:
It is unfortunate that most of these tribal attacks have been aided and abetted by our elders and even traditional rulers who ordinarily should be in the forefront of redirecting the young ones towards the path of peaceful coexistence.
.

The choices of the microscope few is echo by 99.9% of Igbo worldwide. What I hate about the rift btw the Yoruba n Igbo is after grandstanding Igbo's will always end up playing victim after needless provocation. Why not live up to to your grandstanding for once ? Igbo nuisance is not just on SM with choosing who Iya olijas and baba olojo in Yorubaland.

In conflict resolution you do not blame (a party) the Yoruba elders for boldly stating their stand after relentless provocation by the igbos. Here you are playing victim antagonising the Yoruba elder for exactly redirecting the society toward peaceful coexistence. Here is how, please what do you call the invitation of Igbo elders by Akiolu before the election ? Is that not a medium to reach out to this igbos ? Did Fashola n Tinubu not hold another rally to solicit the support of the Igbo as well ? I do not see where any other tribe was accorded such respect. The Deji of Akure granting the igbos the Eze title is that no respecting the wish of the Igbo in that domain ? Why did he not order the Eze to be manhandled to his palace instead of inviting him over ? You myopically chose to ignore all this overtures n would rather blame Yoruba elder for failing to performing the role you dictated only to play victim to your advantage. You are very stupid for everything you wrote here.

Uniben4sure:
I am writing this piece to make a passionate appeal to both sides to call themselves to order. All these tribal scuffles should stop. Let us apply common sense and let peace reign between the two tribes. Some people up north are taking advantage of our inability to unite to perpetuate themselves in power, yet we have refused to put aside our differences and work together.
Igbo man you do not make passionate plea to both sides while slighting a party(the Yoruba). I feel thoroughly slighted with the outlook of you write up and if you are sincere and desire peaceful coexistence you should dedicate yourself to writing another epistle where the entire Igbo race would be thoroughly lambasted for the rift whether they are the cause or not does hold water. That is paying back in the same coin disdain the Igbo race have treated several appeals by the Yoruba on this forum.

You should lecture your tribe that they have no single right to make a claim or even seek equal status with the Yoruba on their land. Federation or no federation country or no country. Only then should the Yoruba consider your plea not accept. Personally I would chose to fight this to the end to see what the Igbos are capable of. I am sick and tired of hearing any noise from your tribe and would rather finish this once and for all. I do not mind paying whatever personal price it is to silent the Igbo race completely and forever. I do not care if Aboki keep being the president after all the Obasanjo n Jonathan that were president never added a dime to my pocket.

Finally you can continue to sober, I have nothing to sober about. I might after dishing out the venom you injected in me but for now I love the way Igbos are being thoroughly rubbished all over Yorubaland and would love that it continues till your entire tribe start begging for leniency. Not just your governors this time around every gala seller, Alaba boy n every Igbo home n away.

Sometimes when I am tempted to engage my Yoruba brethren in tribal e-war, I pause to think about the quality Yoruba men and women who have impacted my life positively. I can count at least five yorubas who have made more impacts in my life than even my own tribesmen.

I am equally sure that many of my Yoruba brethren who are honest enough can attest to the fact that they have been positively impacted in one way or the other by Igbo's .

If the foregoing statements are factual, and if the majority of the two tribes adhere to the Christian faith, why then do we find it difficult to forgive each other's shortcomings? Why have the Igbo's refused to forgive the Yoruba's for the roles SOME of them played in the civil war, and why would the Yoruba's chose to attack Igbo's living in their lands because of the political choices made by SOME Igbo's or because of the comments of a microscopic few Igbo's on social media?

It is unfortunate that most of these tribal attacks have been aided and abetted by our elders and even traditional rulers who ordinarily should be in the forefront of redirecting the young ones towards the path of peaceful coexistence.

For those those of you who like to beat the drums of war, let me inform you that wars are no friends to any side as both sides are left to count losses at the end. Besides, let's not forget that we already have our lovely daughters and sisters who are married to both sides. Think about what will become of them in the event of tribal war.

I am writing this piece to make a passionate appeal to both sides to call themselves to order. All these tribal scuffles should stop. Why on earth will I fight for what will please someone that you claim I hate ? If it's only to spite your race till its demise I Won't render my support. Anyone with a functioning brain should be able to understand that from my comments.

That aside I do not hate the Igbo race but am sick n tired of your noise.

If you want to wage war to get your freedom you have a right to it. May God punish me if I hinder you in anyway.

If you believe dishing out hatred propaganda like the Hutus n Tutsi, the way Kanu is doing is the way to go continue. Many of us are patiently waiting to lead the onslaught.

If you believe the Catalan referendum style is the way to go all the best. I wish you success.

Daydreaming that my tribe will campaign for Biafra because of the diatribe from Kanu n co is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard my whole life.
