Sometimes when I am tempted to engage my Yoruba brethren in tribal e-war, I pause to think about the quality Yoruba men and women who have impacted my life positively. I can count at least five yorubas who have made more impacts in my life than even my own tribesmen.

I am equally sure that many of my Yoruba brethren who are honest enough can attest to the fact that they have been positively impacted in one way or the other by Igbo's .

Why did he not order the Eze to be manhandled to his palace instead of inviting him over ? Igbo man you do not make passionate plea to both sides while slighting a party(the Yoruba). I feel thoroughly slighted with the outlook of you write up and if you are sincere and desire peaceful coexistence you should dedicate yourself to writing another epistle where the entire Igbo race would be thoroughly lambasted for the rift whether they are the cause or not does hold water. That is paying back in the same coin disdain the Igbo race have treated several appeals by the Yoruba on this forum.

You should lecture your tribe that they have no single right to make a claim or even seek equal status with the Yoruba on their land. Federation or no federation country or no country. Only then should the Yoruba consider your plea not accept. Personally I would chose to fight this to the end to see what the Igbos are capable of.
